Having a hard time thinking of even 2-3 options that are interesting out there. Happy we moved on from PMO, but not excited by most options out there

Boudreau would have been the perfect fit but he's gone now. Other than that the only ones that I find interesting are Babcock and Julien but there are money issues with them.

Other than that the odds of us getting a coach that's a downgrade on Mo are as high as getting someone similar or better.

I wouldn’t mind Julien, but only on short term 1 year deals… produce and get extended.
Zero interest in Babcock… I think he’s hugely over rated

Does anyone know who the up and coming coaches are out there?

I've heard Patrick on the ice but am not sure of any of the other CHL coaches out there right now.

I wouldn't mind Groulx from Tampa. He's won everything as a junior coach including a gold medal at the WJC with Morrissey. He also has now been groomed in that org as their minor league coach for 6 seasons now. Tampa is a very progressive organization so I wouldn't have any issue poaching someone from them.

Off season

Lane Lambert (Trotzs assistant)or Nate Leaman (NCAA) or Rickard Gronberg

Seriously top 3 in my opinion
Yes, bring in Rickard Gronberg, he was high on Seattle's list. Then, trade Scheifele to Smashville for Forsberg and draft more Swedes again!!

Problem is, there aren’t really any promising available options right now… likely part of the reason Lowry was given the season to show what he can do.
Things will change in the offseason, both in the NHL and AHL.
There’s also European league options and maybe a proactive diversity option of an ex-pro female HC

At this point, I'd take a man, woman, or robot maid as our Head Coach as long as they're good!

Try to pry Hayley Wickenheiser out of Toronto. She probably knows more about hockey than half the current NHL coaches.
Not sure if she’d be interested though, with her medical training stuff and all

We likely won’t have a line up with the ability to win like we do right now for a while after this year. We need the right coach. Missed out on Boudreau, so who do you hire now? I don’t like the idea of a first time coach taking over. But not many great options out there right now.

never Babcock, I will immediately stop being a fan.

I wouldn't hate Bylsma if we were bringing someone in now. Since we aren't, I'm fine giving Lowry a trial run now and then re-assessing whether or not to bring in someone new in the summer when more guys shake loose.

Babcock or Torts would make me puke personally.......literally I would consider following a new team

Boudreau is kinda of meh, PMO 2.0 for me.

But to each their own.....

Yeah, I see Boudreau as a players coach, which is what we just had, instead of more a hard ass which is what we need.

Maybe Chevy will just let Scheifele and Wheeler run the "bench". No Mau' in their way now?
Would be a continuing, and growing nightmare but...wouldn 't shock me! Lols.
Lowry will be fine. Not sure about Huddy still there?

Yeah BB bever really excited me. He never could get things done with his super talented teams in Washington and Anaheim. I think he like Moe is good at taking teams to respectability but can't get them over the hump.

I don't even consider Torts as he wouldn't fot the culture of our org at all and he's not coming to Winnipeg to coach anyhow. Do people not remember the diabocle that was him in Vancouver.

Give me someone new and innovative please. Not sure who that is but I'm sure there are a number of them out there.

Vegas isn't dumping on Bylsma, are they?
Beside, he is a personal friend and mentor of PoMo. Be alot of the same probably. PoMo is probably going to wiggle his way into Vegas org, with Bylsma, and meeting up with Hnidy and Lawless again. He would be great with their media :naughty::D

Oh... I see. Old boys club it is then. Why think outside the box when u can recycle guys who have been fired a bunch
New, innovative, play inspiring leader who teaches and guides a new system, is too unimaginable or probable or possible. I get it.
Need a well-known worn-in recycled has-been. Gotcha.
Go Lowry-Jets Go!
