If you took 5s to Google "Daryl Katz facial surgery" you will find the first 20 articles all tell you to think twice before writing what you did if you value human decency at all, regardless of your personal feelings towards him as a human. Or even just ask "anyone know why DK got plastic surgery? Don't remember him having that before..." and I'm sure a cordial discussion or answer would've followed. You don't even have to click on any of them to get all the info you need. Just search...

Reading up about this case, Katz's involvement seems to be a big smokescreen by the Buttons, who are facing lawsuits from 6 other women in addition to Humphries. Critically, it's the Buttons, not Humphries, who made this allegation about an illicit relationship between Humphries and Katz, and Humphries has denied such a thing existed.

I do agree that Katz seemingly asking for secrecy is, at minimum, not the best look, given he was 53 and she was 17. Transparency is always important for a relationship like this. But nothing in those texts appear to indicate any sexual relationship took place, and Humphries, through her attorney, has denied it, and basically called it a pathetic attempt by the Buttons to sidestep the issue.

Not that it matters, people are entitled to their opinion, especially when said person has previous similar allegations against them.

In this case, I’m going to go ahead and put my emphasis on “underage” rather than “prostitute.” I don’t feel her so-called profession is applicable in the conversation. Either way, “innocent until proven guilty” only applies in a court of law, not on a social media discussion board.

Just my own original post that objectively, a grown, married man having "sex" with a teenager almost 40 years his junior is creepy. Full stop, nothing odd about my stance. A man using his power/money and influence over a young girl for his own pleasure is never okay. Even if she is a "prostitute." There is no evidence that speaks to the fact that she is a prostitute, by the way, just accusations, since I know you are all about facts.

Nothing to see here guys. It was a simple business relationship. Between a 17 year old dancer and a billionaire in his 50s. Totally above board, they were doing business.

I can't believe some people are so morally bankrupt (showing bias because of a sports team they like) that they see nothing wrong with this whole scenario.

The "victim" here actually came out and said Katz is innocent and not part of this.

The victim is suing the Buttons. The Buttons allegedly pimped their young ballet dancers out and that is who the Victim filed against.

The buttons then dragged Katz into this via third party, probably because a hockey Owner is a bigger media target and takes the heat off them.

Since the victim and Katz both deny it, its pretty much case closed.

The Buttons on the other hand......they admit they were in a 3 way sexual relationship with the victim and say it was consensual and only began exactly the day after she turned 18 and that she initiated it. Which sounds horrific even if the Buttons were possibly telling the truth, which is highly unlikely given a lot of people are stepping forward against the Buttons now.

And when you're talking about a teenage girl, she's likely with the victim of sex trafficking. Not a sex worker who has full agency over their situation.
