If he can play like he did last year before his injury I’ll take it. I’m not saying that was great but he at least managed the game well.

They got to get a run game going though. Positive is first series in & you can pretty much tell Nick Singleton is a different level of athlete that haven’t had at that position since Journey Brown.

I knew nothing about him before tonight, but Kaytron Allen looks like he has some juice too. They could be sneaky fun.

Even the national NFL guys are shitting on CFB for Pitt-WV not playing for a decade. These teams hate each other. This game is fantastic.

WVU is exceptionally good at hate. Their rivalry with VT got so heated that eventually both schools agreed to a break to calm things down.

WVU fan I know is the nicest mother of two you'll ever meet, very quiet. She drove all the way to this game to feed her hatred in person. The hate is important.

That pass to the right end on 2nd down was money. Guy heard footsteps and got scared.

The punter might be the best precision punter ever. Just dropping dimes inside the 5. Too bad the one guy screwed it up

Allar dropped a dime on that throw.

He completed a forward pass so he already topped Roberson’s performance in relief at Iowa last year.

I also have The Hate but it's a weird hate. WVU fans and VT fans bonded in hatred. We went from rioting and fighting each other to hate-partying together. Shit got really weird. After the second-to-last last game before the break there were WVU fans who went to parties and talked hosts into letting them burn their couches to mourn their loss; but there were also VT fans burning their own couches in mockery of the WVU ritual, appropriating it. Everything was wild everywhere. Our AD at the time was pushing a new "Hokies Respect" thing that involved not being savage animals, and by then it was abundantly clear that WVU games brought out the worst of it. They played the scheduled game the next year and then took a 12 year break, much to the relief of Blacksburg's first responders.

Edit: When I met the fan I mentioned above, we had an instant knowing bond. We have a bond of fan-hate. I just hate Pitt a lot more, and I've had weird times with WVU people and never with Pitt people. These uncultured Pitt people have never known the smell of a culturally appropriated couch burning. They aren't worthy. They are simple.
