I blame trying to get more cardio in my life. I've resorted to podcasts to keep me honest/keep track of time. It's been a lot of PFF lately. Plus it was a Feldman appearance, I couldn't resist the temptation.
I listen to podcasts all day during work at 2x speed. Efficient af.

For Penn State it depends if they can run the football or not this year to me. They couldn’t at all last year. Their average loss margin in Big Ten play last year was 4.2 with a team that couldn’t run the football & had their QB playing on broken ribs.

I’m not worried about the defense really. They’ve consistently churned out top 15-20 caliber defenses under Franklin.

I’m not a huge Clifford fan but he was playing well last year before his injury but they have to take pressure off him. He’s not a big vertical threat so you can’t have him throwing the football 40+ times a game.

The OL stunk but they also didn’t have a RB capable of creating a big play last year either. You hope the freshmen 5* Nick Singleton & 4* Kaytron Allen live up to their rankings & the buzz they’ve created in camp. Fortunately that is an easier position for young players transition into than others.

We’ll see. I could see a floor of like 7-5 & a ceiling of 10-2.

All just so that Alabama can play Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia in the NC.
This. The reality is, even with NIL, there are only like 4-5 programs currently capable of winning the national championship. Even with Texas A&M's historically good class last cycle, they would still need to stack another 2 or 3 of those type of classes to reach the depth of talent that Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State already have. The difference between a top 3 class and a top 10 class in bigger than top 10 versus top 25.

You either need a generationally good QB like Clemson/LSU, or you need 10+ five starts to keep pace with Alabama. The rest are just playing for a first round ass kicking.

At least 12 teams will give us some decent first round games. The last couple of years have been brutally bad.

I truly feel for you Penn St fans having to watch Year FOUR of Clifford.

If he can play like he did last year before his injury I’ll take it. I’m not saying that was great but he at least managed the game well.

They got to get a run game going though. Positive is first series in & you can pretty much tell Nick Singleton is a different level of athlete that haven’t had at that position since Journey Brown.
