Heck with that.. they only gave up 78 yds of total offense.

Who decides to play football at Kent State? They have only 5 seasons over 500 since 1990, and only one good season, 11 and 3.
Those dudes don't miss a game check. In their last 25 games, they've played Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Washington, Arkansas, Pittsburgh and UCF lol.

As said above like the last decade or so their AD has scheduled crazy out of conference games for the sake of money. Now a lot of these type of schools have to but others are more strategic with it by trying to play teams more so in the middle to bottom tier of the P4 level.

They’re really bad this year though on top of having a brutal out of conference schedule. They lost to Saint Francis (PA) as their lone non-P4 out of conference game. Saint Francis isn’t even a top tier FCS school.

2024:
Pittsburgh L 55-24
Tennessee L 71-0
Penn State L 56-0

2023:
Central Florida L 56-6
Arkansas L 28-6
Fresno State L 53-10

2022:
Washington L 45-20
Oklahoma L 33-3
Georgia L 39-22

2021:
Texas A&M L 41-10
Iowa L 30-7
Maryland L 37-16

2020:
Penn State
Kentucky
Alabama

Covid year so they didn’t play these games but that’s what was originally scheduled

2019:
Arizona State L 30-7
Auburn L 55-16
Wisconsin L 48-0

2018:
Illinois L 31-24
Penn State L 63-10
Ole Miss L 38-17

2017:
Clemson L 56-3
Louisville L 42-3

2016:
Penn State L 33-13
Alabama L 48-0

2015:
Illinois L 52-3
Minnesota L 10-7

That’s Kent State’s out of conference schedule the last decade. The MAC plays a 4 game out of conference schedule with an 8 game conference schedule. They lost every single one of those games & as you can see they’ve gotten more aggressive in recent years with taking on three P4 teams a year.

They put three auto-losses on the schedule every year. So it’s hard to build momentum. It’s part of the reason why their previous head coach left. Sean Lewis was actually doing a pretty decent job there it just didn’t look like it in the overall win/loss record.

Harold Fannin Jr. had another big game last night against Texas A&M. I don’t know if it’s a similar situation to Quinyon Mitchell where bigger schools did try to get him to hit the portal & he ultimately didn’t or not.

But yeah he’s too good for the MAC level. He’s probably gonna shoot up draft boards.

Bucks County.
You don’t like Big AJ & Big Justice, The Costco Guys?

Who?

My only knowledge of them is from a "behind the scenes" video of them making some weird video where they were trying to introduce some food or something. The kid kept messing up and the dad kept getting more and more pissed.

Some guy putting on some dumb act while yelling at his kid for some social media clout?

Anyone know what UNLV is going to do? Stay in Moutain West or go to Pac 12

Apparently the answer was “Lose their QB because the NIL payments didn’t clear.” What a disaster for the sport. They essentially controlled their own destiny for a playoff spot. Yet another way the NCAA is at fault for most of this.

I guess UNLV’s side is claiming the kid wanted more money than originally agreed upon.

So who know who’s right or wrong but yeah either way this a ripple effect of the NCAA doing a half measure with pay for play. A lot of these deals aren’t worth the paper they’re written on so it’s easy for either side to renig on them. It’s a free for all with no real official process.

This was the rumor with Judkins, but it's nice having a real source confirm it on the record. What an absolute disaster of a situation for everyone.

They also threw a ton of money around bringing in transfer players. So with the setup we have that’s going to cause issues when current roster players see outsiders coming in making potentially more money than them.

It’s why some schools won’t throw bags at players coming into their program. These use most of their funds for the guys in their program already & don’t really chase the players that are just going to whatever the highest offer on the table is. Some of these schools don’t make big offers from the get go also because they don’t even know if their collective can handle those payments too.

It’s just an utter mess that really only the school administration benefit from but the players, coaches, fans, etc. all get f***ed in the process. I actually feel bad for the collective people too. They have to seriously reach out to regular people hoping to raise money for NIL so they can help their favorite team maintain/improve. Meanwhile some of these big programs are reeling in $50-100M a year in profit
