Heck with that.. they only gave up 78 yds of total offense.

Who decides to play football at Kent State? They have only 5 seasons over 500 since 1990, and only one good season, 11 and 3.
Those dudes don't miss a game check. In their last 25 games, they've played Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Washington, Arkansas, Pittsburgh and UCF lol.

As said above like the last decade or so their AD has scheduled crazy out of conference games for the sake of money. Now a lot of these type of schools have to but others are more strategic with it by trying to play teams more so in the middle to bottom tier of the P4 level.

They’re really bad this year though on top of having a brutal out of conference schedule. They lost to Saint Francis (PA) as their lone non-P4 out of conference game. Saint Francis isn’t even a top tier FCS school.

That’s Kent State’s out of conference schedule the last decade. The MAC plays a 4 game out of conference schedule with an 8 game conference schedule. They lost every single one of those games & as you can see they’ve gotten more aggressive in recent years with taking on three P4 teams a year.

They put three auto-losses on the schedule every year. So it’s hard to build momentum. It’s part of the reason why their previous head coach left. Sean Lewis was actually doing a pretty decent job there it just didn’t look like it in the overall win/loss record.

Harold Fannin Jr. had another big game last night against Texas A&M. I don’t know if it’s a similar situation to Quinyon Mitchell where bigger schools did try to get him to hit the portal & he ultimately didn’t or not.

But yeah he’s too good for the MAC level. He’s probably gonna shoot up draft boards.
