Other Sports: NCAA Thread v12

Greg did a 180 in the last four days on Bama. He went from click baity "Bama doesn't deserve it" to shilling. Quite a feat.

I was wrong. Someone made 40k at a major book buying both sides of the FSU to make the playoff catastrophic line swings this morning. It wasn't caught. Now the fight to cash.

Not likely, but how awesome would FSU smoking UGA be
I certainly wouldn't be in favor of it lol. But, Georgia will go into that game with a significantly different roster than the one that played last night. They are about to get dinged hard by the transfer portal and draft opt outs.

Would make for top notch banter

You think Milroe?

Yep. I don’t trust any voters anywhere to get anything right.

Here’s a stat from Brugler that I didn’t know. Daniels’ 2023 has the most explosive plays (20+ yards) in the last 5 years, which is when those started to be kept as stats. He’s 6 Explosives ahead of Burrow’s 2019, which is second best. Burrow played THREE more games. THREE.

I'm surprised you didn't post that one. I saw it and was like Jojo totally gonna post it cause it's a crazy stat.

I wouldn't mind seeing him go to the Vikings - even though he'd be in the conference, we could still wish him well there.

They won by one score at home. Unserious horseshit. Ohio St played a schedule you can lump into the 8th-12th toughest area. Michigan's may have been top 50. May.

As I have to say over and over again, SoS is not just your best wins. It's Michigan scheduling the creamiest puffs known to man. It does matter.

If you look at EPA & success rates that game was a lot closer than public perception. Ohio State was actually better in those areas. Where Ohio State got killed was turnovers & field position.

They’ve slayed the Ohio State beast but the next one is the postseason where they haven’t been good at all so that’s the last thing I’d want to see too. You think you’re getting a wounded duck in Florida State & then bam here comes Saban & Alabama the guy/team that seemingly never really losses when it matters most.
