Who knows, every fan base claims they lose recruits because of NIL now. Not saying it can’t be true but it’s essentially a built excuse for explaining away why kids didn’t pick your favorite school.

There’s going to be an overcorrection on this stuff once we go a few cycles with it. There’s already rumors out there that those A&M kids from last cycle aren’t getting what they were told they could.
The insider from 247's Ohio State site shot it down on the same basis above. Kirby's been one of the few coaches who have publicly called for changes to the system to avoid blank check recruitment. With that said, UGA had something like 90 players with an NIL deal last year, including some PWO's who didn't need a scholarship as a result.

He’s a Nebraska legacy. His uncle is on the staff there too.

The rumor is Frost got drunk & no showed when his family was there for a visit turning them off with the school under Frost.

That would be a hell of a start to the Rhule era. He was big on Georgia during the process as well, but they've already filled the spot in that class. I don't see them walking that back, but you never know.

Raiola is hands down the number one player in 2024 cycle and a far better prospect than Manning.

I think it was Dan Orlovsky who said he is best friends with Raiola's dad. He said basically the same thing about the kid.
