congrats to our nets fans here.
sad as a knicks fan

They still got boned in that trade. None of the assets were any good besides the picks potentially. But they'll probably be late anyways if Luka continues to progress.
Do they really have nice pieces though? Besides Mitchell Robinson, the rest of their team is horrendous.
I meant currently on their roster, so I didn't include RJ Barrett. And relax, there are a lot of question marks with his game with how he meshed at Duke, so the jury is still out on him.Yeah, you clearly don't know anything at this point. Mitch Robinson is their "only nice piece ". Gtfo with that. RJ Barrett was the #1 guy preseason, and only fell due to Zion and Morant passing him. Not from his play.
Knox is also very good for his age. Very raw player though. Trier had a great season and should have been drafted. Dude will be either a very good bench player or a decent starter.
Can see other young players joining in FA. Especially since they will be able to offer more money than most to them

Why are the Knicks drafting football players with their lottery picks?I would also add that Knox is pretty new to basketball. He started playing at 15. Was a football player prior.
I’m not here to dump on the Knicks, just celebrate the Nets. But man, does this not read like sour grapes...?

Nah, if anything, it's a smart decision. Nets shouldn't expect the KD of old to join them.
I would have said (and have said) the same if the Knicks signed him.
It does. Damage control.
Knicks don't even realize the bad PR they would be getting over this Lol. No player wants to join them.
Ya Dolan meddling in with team affairs again Lol.Actually, Dolan having concerns about the injury was put out there last week or so.
This is a stupid thing to say and not true.Stop while you're ahead. The Knicks traded their franchise player to sign Julius Randle. I'm at a loss of words.
