I couldn’t care less about basketball but the idea of choosing the Nets over just about any other team is hilarious to me lol

Maybe this is an omen that Piles will sign Panarin and Bob...that way the world can end in 2020 lol

Got scraps for Melo, drafted Ntilikina, traded Porzingis for 'cap space', didn't trade Kanter at deadline, didn't tank for Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr contract, etc.

If RJ Barrett doesn't have a rookie DWade type impact, I fear for his safety.
I mean, Porzingis is a clown. Trading him was addition by subtraction.

It doesn't change the fact that they're the Edmonton Oilers of the NBA and have been a total gongshow for the majority of the millennium.

If Durant was looking for validation, he won’t get much of it in Brooklyn

I get it but kinda a joke that he thought it’d be a better idea to go to Brooklyn

They traded away their franchise player at the time for a chance at Irving and Durant.
Then those two end up going to a divisional rival. They are the biggest laughingstock of the league.

Knicks can officially rebuild. They have some nice pieces too. Maybe they can add some other young players to it in FA or by being a 3rd team in in a sign-and-trade situation.

Would have went full blast with KD. Now, they can get another lotto pick this year and potentially move some of those 1sts from Dallas to accelerate it.

As a Knicks fan, I'm cool with it. KD isn't very likely to be the same player post torn Achilles. I didn't want Kyrie unless someone like KD or Kawhi was coming with him.

True. Also 32 by the time he sees the court again.

Like I also said, if Chris Broussard is correct and Kawhi is heading to the Lakers, no one is beating that team.

They traded away a player that threatened to go back to Europe in 7 days if he wasn't dealt. They got a very good return on getting rid of Hardaway too.

KP is a clown. They had to trade him

The Knicks are a joke but that one was not on them

They still got boned in that trade. None of the assets were any good besides the picks potentially. But they'll probably be late anyways if Luka continues to progress.

Do they really have nice pieces though? Besides Mitchell Robinson, the rest of their team is horrendous.

I would go from disliking the Warriors to becoming their biggest fans come postseason. f*** LA.

Once the injury happened, I got really nervous on bringing in KD, so I can live with this. One of my good buddies is a die-hard Nets fan, so I'm happy for how he's seen Marks turn the team around for them.

I was one of the few that didn't mind signing Durant after the injury. But I never felt he would be the same top 3 player again. More like a top 15. Which is still very good but not someone that can carry a franchise.
I think he will be late Nuggets/early Knicks Carmelo Anthony. Who was a top 15 player in his prime. But not a franchise carrier.

Irving is not that either. I think if you have three robins, you could win though.
