A lot of talk about the Duke game last night as the 3 freshman went off, combining for 83 pts.

I only watched some highlights - will prob watch the reply on the espn app.

Everyone's talking up Zion Williamson today. Is it weird that his size kinda scares me? He's 285lbs at 18. If ends up 6'7" 300 lbs in the pros, isn't that a concern? That is massive. Think I may just have PTSD from Michael Sweetney.

He's reportedly down to 272 at Duke, and they want him to drop another 5-7. Which is fine when it’s all muscle & you move like Zion.

Those 3 will probably go 1-2-3. Duke is loaded.

Nassir. Little.

He’s the most advanced shooter of the big 4...with the best mechanics and an absurdly high release point...and best defender. So he needs to be in that conversation as well, even if he’s not much of a playmaker with the ball in his hands (at this point), unlike the Duke trio. He’s just outplayed them too often at various allstar events to discount.

God do I hope Roy f***s up Little’s draftstock because he doesn’t know how to OAD...so that when we pick 7th or 8th again, Nas might slide to us

THJ is having a good season, but his contract is still terrible. I was praying coming into the season he would play well enough so we can trade him for an expiring contract. I hope Knicks management don't get too attached to his play this season. We need to dump that contract ASAP. But with Mills as president and THJ being his poster-boy signing - this will immediately admit defeat to the contract.

Kanter sucks. No playoff team will want him since he is unplayable in the playoffs with his lack of defending. Just keep him and let him walk at the end of the season.

Sixers will need shooters and I think that's where a guy like Lee will hold some value to them (I hope).

The rest of the roster is meh. Some nice young pieces, but the rest is crap/busts on 1 yr contracts trying to make it as fringe NBAers. I honestly don't see the sudden bright future people are pointing towards unless they luck out with a guy like RJ in the draft (they won't - they never do)... Not enough that management has done has led me to believe this mediocrity won't continue for the foreseeable future.

And forget about KD, he's gonna continue to get rings with the Warriors/Lakers for the foreseeable future while being the most efficient scorer of all time.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable John Wall acquisition this summer when we strike out on all free agents.

Getting embarrassed at home by the Magic who are missing their best player.

Stagnant, ISO offense that will make Melo proud.

I can't bring myself to watch it. Seen enough of those injuries in soccer.

Poor guy. He's been having such a great season too.

Maybe I'm grasping for straws here cause it's been the same bs for so long, but I disagree with this on young players.

Frank is a strange one. He's very up and down. But as we've discussed, his D is rock solid. He's still really young. If he can develop an outside shot and be a 3 & D guy, that'll be huge. No point in arguing the draft and selections there - it's over with.

I really like what I'm seeing in Trier. He's raw and his scoring abilities are way ahead of the rest of his game, but he's learning. he has no fear in going to the basket or taking a shot.

Mitch is a project. Some nights he looks lost, others he's confident. He's another that is so raw. This is expected.

Look at the ages of these guys -this team would be a college team years ago.

Frank - 20
Knox - 19
Mitch - 20
Trier - 22

Plus KP -23, Vonleh -23 (if he chooses to stay as a glue guy), Dotson - 24

None of those players are really exceptional talents. You can compare that with the cores of the Raptors, Suns, Celtics, Sixers, Bucks, etc and they still lag behind them considerably in pure talent.

I haven't been that excited about seeing a sports update on my phone in... I don't know how long.
Man when that shit happened last night it just zapped the air out of the room.

I was watching the game with my brother and then boom. We didn’t even end up finishing the game or saying much after it happened.

When I saw he wouldn’t need surgery this morning I couldn’t f***ing believe it. I really thought this shit may have ended his career. Amazing news.

Time for Delo and Dinwiddie to step it up in the meantime. Or not, whatever

Yup.

I’m hoping we’ll see a bit more of Kurucs while he’s out.
