I'll root for the Warriors before James Harden lol.
Haha that's a big call.

Clippers traded away Irving this way lolPretty much all draft picks that are traded away are protected. Top 3 or top 5. No one wants to be the person that potentially traded away the next LeBron or KD.
They were never going to be top 5 picks anyway. Unless they're like top 15-20 protected it really doesn't change anything.
This will be interesting to monitor now that they're all on the same team...I don't disagree with a lot of the criticism, but this is the direction it needs to go. They're finally rebuilding and people are *****ing and moaning, KP included. The only way to go in this league is cut cap space for a max contract, and suck to get high picks. You can turn it around quick if you're smart about it.
you're also spending subsequent posts raving about Dennis Smith and calling the whole Knicks roster garbage. Ain't much of a difference between DSJ, Mudiay and Trier, fella. Hate to break it to you.
This is not true. They often convey into 2nds after a period of time, and I'm pretty sure they've straight disappeared after several years. If they’re protected, they just get moved to the next year.
I don't see why anyone cares about a guy who can't stay healthy. Kinda shocked that I'm the only one who thinks this is actually a good move. There's literally no one of his size who has ever come back from ACL surgery. I have no hope that he'll all of a sudden become a consistent healthy, productive player.
Seems to me like a smart move overall. Besides the health, guy and his brother were just drama queens. I gave it a lot of leeway because that's the NBA these days, but still, I'd rather not have an organization held hostage by a guy who hasn't even managed to get on the court this year.
