The Bullets wouldn’t have gotten 1OA anyway this year. That was ordained to Pop for all of this “service to the game” over the years. It wouldn’t have matteredSo Ted decides both teams can tank the year after generational talents are first overall
Honestly I’ll take it. You have to figure a somewhat competent GM can hit on one of them. Sheppard couldn‘t even hit on a top 15 pick, but Winger being the new toy, I have my hopes up (for now).We are going to have the most 2nd rounders in league history
Black is the name I keep hearing….https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2023/06/21/wizards-nba-draft-eighth-pick/
The 4 names to keep an eye on are:
Anthony Black (Arkansas) — 6-foot-5 guard
Bilal Coulibaly (Metropolitans 92) — 6-foot-8 forward
Ausar Thompson (Overtime Elite) — 6-foot-5 wing
Cason Wallace (Kentucky) — 6-foot-4 guard
I don't mind the Thompson twin. Coolibaby can't shoot but if is something he can't put together the comparable is like a Igoudala. I still probably favor Wallace a bit more than Black just because he has a bit more of a floor general vibe and plays D.Anthony Black please. I love big guards who can ball-handle.
No picks for the Wiz
More or less buyouts but saving Ted money. Not a good look.I can’t help but be annoyed by these returns on these trades. Objectively, to receive anything is good but my god…
so they get two guys over 30 (34 & 31)
also get pick 35
