lol I interpreted it so different, it seemed like "okay 2010. Nope, okay maybe 20XX? No? f*** it then, fantasy land, this shit isn't happening"Mine was more of a “this is the dream/fantasy”……

i love kp but blow it upI just saw this, You say yes to the trade so fast.
Can't tell you how OK I would be with the Nationals getting Skenes at #2. Watched every inning he pitched tonight (not much else to do sports-wise for me).Started looking at MLB mock drafts and everyone has the Nats taking the top pitcher at #2
He pitches for LSU so you can check him out in the college world series. Looks like hes starting tonight.
I got to watch a few innings. He looks good and sounds like hes a pretty good hitter as well. The NL has a DH now but but do we let him hit like OhtaniCan't tell you how OK I would be with the Nationals getting Skenes at #2. Did find it hilarious LSU brought in a freshman that the announcers said was super confident who then promptly gives up a 2 run homer on his first pitch.
They’re gonna blow it all up. All of it. I love it. Trade em all!!!
Been saying this for years. They had something potentially special with Wall and Beal but injuries and Ernie ruined it. It’s time to stop throwing good money after bad, accept that the window with Beal has closed, and go scorched earth to try and rebuild as quickly as possible. As a long-time and now usually inactive Bullets fan, this would be so damned refreshing. Cleanse it with fire.
Weird trade.
Weird trade.
Expiring contracts and scraps, I mean picks.
Wait, never mind, both players coming back have multiple years on their deal. Paul is getting paid 30 mil a year and the other guy 11 mil per year. Wow. Only hope appears to be trading Paul to another team for more picks and buying out the other guy.
Uncle Ted really screwed himself signing Beal to that max deal and giving him a no trade clause.
That's mainly why it's weird. Apparently Beal's agent is the Suns CEO's son so...kind of fishy. The return was always going to be weak and this....certainly is.Beal, Booker, Durant all on the floor at once seems to me like such an obviously terrible fit, but I don't know anything.
I don’t necessarily think so. Booker played some PG before Chris Paul arrived. So, assuming he makes that switch, with Beal staying at the 2, that would probably work (with Gordon maybe sacrificing a bit, but leaning on his 3 pt shooting).Beal, Booker, Durant all on the floor at once seems to me like such an obviously terrible fit, but I don't know anything.
Yep this is my take. They gave Beal that contract, the ultimate player respect contract, and in the end facilitated him to a team that he wanted to go to.Might've been the best they could've done with that shitty NTC and albatross contract.
Whatever. Just glad this shit is over.
Just quoting this as a thumbs down.New GM. Still making shit trades for the worst franchise in DC.
Oh, good. I’m not up to speed on how the NBA salary cap works.Neither one of the contracts is guaranteed after this year. They're literally completely free of the contracts, including Beal's, by next year.
