He also said he felt the changes could have come sooner.

“It’s crazy to think that it took a secret meeting between Tiger, Rory and the best players in the world to make a change so fast that could have been made a year or two ago,” Hahn said. “I was talking to Bryson [DeChambeau] before he left the Tour. That’s what he wanted. He wanted the top players in a room and have a conversation on what they bring to the Tour and how can they be compensated for it. Because of the person that Bryson is, I don’t think he got the respect of his peers to bring together those players.”

That bolded part seems to be a secondary point to his overall concern that catering to the top players in these bigger purse events, as a way to divert them from jumping to LIV, might hurt the PGA Tour.

So it seems like he's on the opposite side of the "be like LIV" debate, hence his "no" vote.

Which suggests his lamentations about the changes coming later than he'd prefer is a reaction to his pal BD jumping to LIV, and his bitterness about that.

The bolded just highlights Tiger’s shadow commissioner role lol….

Hahn and BD are “pals”?

this is creating a more clear perception and division of the Tour haves and the have nots…..if LIV suddenly offers the have nots $25 mil each and they all bail, what does the PGA Tour have left?

20 “top“ guys and the Korn Ferry promotions lol….

The need to negotiate this out and fix the golfing world.

Now you're singing from the hymn book I was pushing before. What IF the LIV--who have the money and the potential--offer a shitload of guaranteed money to all those top 100 players they approached?

Of course Tiger has influence. He made a lot of those guys rich af. Including Phil.

My point then and still now, Monahan has F‘ed up and will have to continue to royally F it up for the PGA Tour to be in real danger.

I still don’t believe it will get to that, but they are playing into The Shark’s trap.

Oh I'm not saying the PGA is perfect or has handled this well. They haven't. But there's a lot of fog and b.s. coming from the other side and right now they're winning only because of money. A LOT of money.

No structure can survive that much cash being waved around. A lot of families would gnaw each others' faces off for 100M.

Not mine. I don't think.

I mean $50 mil in your pocket is F You money for anyone…..it’s a life changer for anyone.

Look at Anthony Kim. By almost all legendary accounts, he’s just retired because it made more sense to take the insurance money.

The PGA Tour needs to accept a world of co-existence and use its more marquis events to sell an alternative path that’s also lucrative.

At this stage the PGA has to undo the bans and just deal with the competition because they can't compete with SA when it comes to disposable cash.

Navy lost to Delaware at home yesterday and scored seven points in the process. Sad to see how far the program has fallen. Have to imagine this is Ken’s last year if things don’t improve drastically. All of the momentum from ending the season strong, beating Army, and returning their QB is instantly gone.

Delaware is usually a very solid 1-AA program. Very.

But, yeah.

not many I enjoy seeing lose more than this guy….what a dick…

Look no further than his Tuesday press conference, which he opened by calling the reporters on hand a "late-arriving media crowd" that "must have enjoyed the weekend." He took aim at one reporter in particular, saying it's usually a $10 fine for being late. Kelly than softened, saying he'd use the fine money to have a "big bash" at the end of the year at his place.

The reporter in question than shouted "maybe if you win I'll be on time." Goodness. GRACIOUS:
