I understand that he has just started to skate. Enstrom is a very tough mofo.

FWIW ....I have a strong hunch that he was badly injured and that most would not believe what he has played through this year.
Enstrom may be tough, but he is now fragile. I hope for his sake that he isn't ready to play against the Preds or the Avs. I doubt he would last 2 games. I would like to see Kuli back but not much hope for that I guess. Chairot and Morrow have become serviceable. Let's go with them.

Awesome game , no clenching needed , thanks Jets . Not rubbing it in but check out Nashville's GDT from last night and you will see exactly why i think Subban is one of the most overrated defenseman in the NHL , it's actually quite funny .:laugh: And to think he makes almost $ 2 million more a year than Buff , i wouldn't trade Buff's helmet for Subban let alone Buff for Subban . :laugh:

Subban makes almost $ 2 million more than Buff -- this may be correct, but I would not trade Buff in exchange for Subban-- I think Buff is way better.

I know Buff gets a lot of money here -- like $ 7.8 mil, but really he's worth it compared to what other elite Defenseman are getting--like Subban at around $ 9.5 mil per year.

I'll bet Buff could get around $ 10 million as an unrestricted free agent right now, so we should be lucky to have such a "complete all around D-man on our team."

What a great night. Jets were lucky to face an injured Wild team in the first round .

There is the Bruce BooDreau school of deception in full effect. The Wild were lucky that the Jets were playing with only 1/2 of their starting D men all series. Still couldn't score.

Curious, what is life like in Winnipeg, Missouri? Do they have a white out there as well? And how did all of those wagers that you placed on the Wild turn out for you?

This season

Subban = $11M
Buff = $8M

Currently makes $3M more than Buff

I agree with Florida Jet--and I wouldn't hold out to much hope for Kulikov to return this year, and if he returns next year, it will only be til his back seizes up. Those serious back injuries are so hard to pinpoint, and fix.

Enstrom is a guy that if he returns, one has to wonder how long he can hang in there with his fragile body ?? I don't think he'd make the full playoff run

In a way this could be a blessing in disguise, as we can clearly see that Chiarot and Morrow can very competently fill in as regulars on Left side defense with Morrissey.

Well done on putting the Wild out of the playoffs in the most embarrassing fashion possible. It's always nice when Dubnyk the fraud gets chased, to do it within ten minutes is just delicious.

If everybody is healthy for the next series I wonder who will make the lineup. I'm liking a lot how Roslavic and Tanev are playing vs Perrault and Little.

Very good posy here Habs Fan--and I mostly agree --especially on Roslovic -- even if Perrault is ready to go--I think Roslovic is much better, and will be a big star for the Jets---what a find he'll turn out to be. He has better speed than MP and also has better scoring touch, and is a lot bigger. Be a mistake to take Roslovic out of the lineup.

Have to admit--Tanev is also looking really good--and I'd want to leave him in the lineup. I'd also leave Little in as he brings experience, and is a smart player.

It's going to be tough to decide on who to sit, and who plays--we are so deep and all lines can score. We have a great thing going here.:)

Considering this above post of mine--I would not be surprised to see Perrault packaged up with a guy like Pettan and traded for a Left Side Defenseman. Be smart to do that !!!

Kypreos' record for getting past the first round is approximately as dismal as Jets 1.0.

Don't count the Av's out - the Avalanche was the team I feared the Jet's having to play "the most" in the 1st round. I watched them come back from a goal down in the 3rd period to beat Nashville tonight.

This Colorado team should not be overlooked, and I would not be surprised if they come back and beat the Preds. All games between the Avs and Jets this year were decided by 1 goal -- so people shouldn't take the Avalanche lightly.

Odds favor Nashville, but if the Avs win the next game in Colorado, and tie the series up, and bring game 7 back to Nashville anything can happen --so our next opponent could be Colorado ???

That Colorado team with McKinnon is a very fast team like the Jets, and are just a couple of players away from being a formidable contender to win. I do expect this series to go 7 games, and the Preds to win--but you never know ??

Either way it will be good for the Jets to face a banged up team.:)
I'd take Avs anyday. Lowry on McKinnon = series over.

Jets have said **** it to all previous ways of rebuilding a team to just try to outdraft everyone from the middle of the pack. And it seems they've succeeded. Can they similiarly say **** it to how every other building team does playoff success (ie every other cup winner lost in 1st or 2nd round in their first push through the playoffs)? We'll see. The West does appear weak this year and the winner of Nashville-Winnipeg should have an easy entrance to the Cup final.

Wow - still doubting the Knights! No free pass by a long shot for the winner of Wpg-Nash (assuming they get by Avs)

I actually took it as a compliment... kinda like "take it easy Jets fans cuz you have 3 more rounds of celebrating coming up"
He obviously does not know the 'Toban party constitution. We've practiced from spring to fall with some solid long weekend shakers thrown in, winter now has Jets...to keep our poor livers a twitchin', and many of us love our cilantro based dishes (I hear it's good for the liver!)
