Kypreos said according to his sources Enstrom is ready to come back and play. If that was the case wouldn’t we see him at least partaking in practice and skating?

Did you all hear that ****ing Kypreos telling Jets fans to pace themselves, it's only the 1st round people.

**** that guy, what a disgrace he is. Not only is a complete moron, he's a bitter, jealous ******* to boot. Get him off that panel, he's clueless.

Party till round 2 Jets fans, life is good!!
I mean, he was just making a little joke, acknowledging how pumped Jets fans are right now with the win.
I actually took it as a compliment... kinda like "take it easy Jets fans cuz you have 3 more rounds of celebrating coming up"

You might be misconstruing his intent.

I chose to interpret much differently. I believe he's telling us Jets fans to pace ourselves because the Jets are going to be in the post season for an extended period, and we'll need all that energy for Round 4!

That wasn’t my take.

He was acknowledging how crazy the crowd was, and telling them they could have a ways to go so relax a bit.

But still, he is kind of a tool.

After the game last night we went out to celebrate (wearing Jets Jerseys of course) We ended up at Yaletown Brewing Co and I was immediately high fived walking in. Lot's of "Go Jets" too, many Winnipeg compliments especially about the street party. I think Vancouver is slowly swinging our way. We got to watch the Avs win in that environment.

It must have been insane in Winnipeg after the game.

let old Hannu have a moment to sit down and tell you guys a small story. Please.

When i was a teenage kid, i'd go to as many Jets games as I could afford, which really, didn't amount to many. I'd see them twice a year when i worked 50/50. Any time i'd go to a game, I'd hang outside the Arena entrance just to see the hockey players and, occasionally, ask for autographs. I'd go in when they opened the doors and sit around the Jets' tunnel and watch the players work on sticks. Once, Patty Elynuik gave me his stick and it was a prized possession. Sadly, I forgot it in my apartment closet when I moved to Toronto (if anyone's at 54-40 Roslyn, look in the front hall closet. I think it was against the wall that holds the closet door, so there is a legit chance it's still there).

18 years ago yesterday, I packed up my car and drove 2 days from Winnipeg to Toronto, where I began a new phase of my life.

I won't forget the locker room talk that we had at Sunday hockey, where some guys had good sources in Winnipeg telling them the Moose were starting to do some back office things that suggested they were preparing for an NHL team. then we heard the rumour was Atlanta was the team. this was way, way before this got out to the media. I told a few Wpg friends and they laughed. Nah, impossible. But every week, we'd hear more and more things that didn't make sense, that they were getting ready for season ticket drives, that they were looking at doing some stuff to the arena to make it NHL friendly. and then the announcement leaked and, man, i thought this was absolutely nuts.

i've lived in toronto for 18 years. i never, ever once cheered for the Leafs and, like a good Winnipeg boy, derive pleasure from their frequent failures. I'll always be a Jets fan, true and true. This playoff run, however long it will last, is icing on my 42 years of existence. man, does this feel good.

last night, i was at a family event and we had the game on. there were some ex-wpggers there and we all couldn't believe the crowds outside of the arena. Made us feel good. We're here cheering as Winnipeggers for Winnipeg from afar. keep it going.

IF the Jets make the Cup finals, i'd seriously consider flying back to Winnipeg NOT to try to watch a game live, but just to go and celebrate a possible Cup victory. In my city, in my home town.

Once a Winnipegger, always a Winnipegger.

It was such a frenzy last night, didn’t realize who our backup goalie was?

Never mind, Hutch .

I am going to go into withdrawals with a possible week of no Jets hockey. Out, yard work to do.

Maurice said Ehlers was suffering from "general malaise"

Sure sounds like code for a healthy scratch to me. We 'll see if it has the desired effect next series.

Then say it later, you don't tell everyone to cool it less than an hour after their first playoff series win in 31 years.

He's a tool.

Jets have said **** it to all previous ways of rebuilding a team to just try to outdraft everyone from the middle of the pack. And it seems they've succeeded. Can they similiarly say **** it to how every other building team does playoff success (ie every other cup winner lost in 1st or 2nd round in their first push through the playoffs)? We'll see. The West does appear weak this year and the winner of Nashville-Winnipeg should have an easy entrance to the Cup final.

I was thinking before the playoffs started that with how the league keeps getting younger, faster, and more skilled that at some point a team is going to leapfrog over the normal route of having to lose before you can win the big prize. Will it be the Jets this season? That is pretty tough to say they have all the pieces to win a Stanley cup so I would say they have a solid shot. I think we will find out allot next round because they will most likely be facing a team that checks all the boxes. If we can beat Nashville then we have a shot at doing this differently.

I though it was stated last night, that he took a shot off his ankle in game 4, that caused the problem?

Did you listen to Maurice post game? I'm not talking about what was said during the game by the SN people. I'm talking about what our coach said.

Sounded like concussion to me. Skated but didn't feel right.
