Twin Cities? More like Tlose Cities.
It warms my cockles to see that.
Lots of great performances tonight, but a big shout out to Laine for a very strong game defensively. He really was strong in his own zone.
The last 15-20 games he has cut his giveaways way down to. He is going to be a 50+ goal scorer with a 200 ft game.
Enjoyed watching every minute of that game. And stress free. Thought about FF after the 5th goal but - **** no! I wan't to watch every second.
Confidence is such a huge part of hockey and this team seems very confident. Not cocky or over-confident, just not doubting the team. They are not done yet.
Helle was a wall. Everybody played a strong game. Credit to Maurice for having them prepared.
I still don't get it. Altho dinner was laden with cilantro.Took me a second take to get it.
Jets have said **** it to all previous ways of rebuilding a team to just try to outdraft everyone from the middle of the pack. And it seems they've succeeded. Can they similiarly say **** it to how every other building team does playoff success (ie every other cup winner lost in 1st or 2nd round in their first push through the playoffs)? We'll see. The West does appear weak this year and the winner of Nashville-Winnipeg should have an easy entrance to the Cup final.
T-win v T-lose.I still don't get it. Altho dinner was laden with cilantro.
I would take Colorado for the home ice advantage if nothing else. Regardless want that series to go 7 games.Don't count the Av's out - the Avalanche was the team I feared the Jet's having to play "the most" in the 1st round. I watched them come back from a goal down in the 3rd period to beat Nashville tonight.
This Colorado team should not be overlooked, and I would not be surprised if they come back and beat the Preds. All games between the Avs and Jets this year were decided by 1 goal -- so people shouldn't take the Avalanche lightly.
Odds favor Nashville, but if the Avs win the next game in Colorado, and tie the series up, and bring game 7 back to Nashville anything can happen --so our next opponent could be Colorado ???
That Colorado team with McKinnon is a very fast team like the Jets and are just a couple of players away from being a formidable contender to win. I do expect this series to go 7 games, and the Preds to win--but you never know ??
Either way it will be good for thew Jets to face a banged up team.
Duh is me. Just didn't put enuff effort into it. Thx MortT-win v T-lose.

_____________________________________________________I don't see Avs winning 3 straight over the Preds - but if they can get to a 7th game anything can happen. It is then just 1 win needed.

Even with Suter and Parise the Wild don't win this series the Jets are just a more complete team that can lose players and still win
Nice Colorado win! Series goes back to Denver where maybe the Avs can push it to a game 7!
Nice time to be a Jets fan!
Hopefully that was Gramps lone playoff game, he seemed to enjoy it and relish the chance to play, like him but not as a hockey player!
