I said it in the end of the GDT but I’ll say it again: this team really missed Zucc and Bucu. There’s not enough skill in the lineup and guys are playing up.

Add those two and now Chytil gets easier completion, Strome is back down to the bottom 6 and it gives two players who can actually make plays instead of Fogarty or Belesky, although those guys have been fine.

Could have been worse.
1st period was good and then they just got on top of us as expected. I do wonder how much of our drop off in physicality was due to how the game was being called.

Good to see Chytil pick up an assist. IMO its really time to start giving the younger guys big minutes with some of the more talented players to see what they are capable of; which will give Gorton a better indication of what to look for at the TDL

Honestly they played hard we’re competitive and lost to a better team. That’s pretty much what we want to happen this season.

Nobody is making that point.

Hank was average, gave up a bad goal made a few crazy saves but it evens out to how a league average goalie would’ve played that game probably. Obviously he’s better than that and needs to be better than that. Game wasn’t his fault but if Hank played how he did vs Winnipeg we prob get a point maybe even win in regulation. Still it’s dumb to crap on him after that game, the team was bad most of the game particularly in the D zone.
