You must have heard of The Cardigans,we were brought to a show of theirs when we were in Sweden decades ago,they were big but didn't know them,not our type of show.

Find it interesting that you gravitate that way being a fan of hockey which has a lot of intensity. The music you hear in arenas is typically high energy.

One of those songs reminds me of this song.

Yeah I do remember the cardigans, I think I posted them earlier in the thread.

Interesting, I never connected the music I listen to with my fondness of hockey. I have a pretty analytical mind, so I view hockey and sports in general as a game of chess...and I naturally analyze the composition of songs since I have a musical background. I can appreciate both simple and complex music.

And yes 'Heartbreak in the making' is pretty reminiscent of Bittersweet symphony, I think they even reference it in the lyrics on purpose.

Possible,I have more faith in your memory than mine.

I find your analogy interesting,I LIKE it,but they won't let me!
I spent many years in chess clubs and some of my opponents were also teammates from various sports,but we never made that type comparison. Simple music can still be good,fun,some people are just too high and mighty.

...it's a Frost Giant from the ol' Infinity Engine Icewind Dale PC game...used to be pretty big into the modding community for the ol' Infinity Engine games back in '01 & '02...have a ton of these ol' graphics just sitting around in a folder (used to run a mod site a hundred years ago for the Baldur's Gate games, Icewind Dale, and me personal favorite Planescape: Torment)...it kinda fits, since I am the Angry Giant, at least according to my wife & kids & grandkids...:biglaugh:
