A lot of deep meaningful thoughts expressed there! Many people have their eyes wide open, yet they don't see.

Everybody's favorite brother from another mother sums things up in an intended wholesome way.
And name me another song where a harpsichord is used in pop?

During the late 1960s and during the 1970s, the harpsichord was featured in lots of pop and rock music. It was a real trend to use the instrument in at least one of your songs. Just off the top of my head: the doors, love you two times; the stones, play with fire; fixing a hole, by the beatles. Hendrix even played harpsichords (himself) on one of his tunes, can't remember the name but remember the sound...

Nice hommage paid by Eros Ramazzotti to Tina, which translates as follows:

One of the greatest artists of all time, a great woman, a worldwide icon, has left us. Tina has been a symbol for all of us in every way, artistic and human. We lost the best, an extraordinary individual. Farewell Tina, I will always be grateful to you.

Great clip of Tina interacting with Eros, can’t help but smile along with her as she recounts how her duet with Eros came about. That smile and laugh of hers could light up a room. Wish I’d have had the opportunity to see her perform.

I knew there were more but to fit what I was trying to do this was the way to proceed with the message the way I wanted to convey it.

Got a link that shows what songs were big with the use of a harpsichord.

The didgeridoo is not often used in contemporary music but it's garnering more use, some of our mates utilize it in more modern ways.

It's like riding a bike, (with flat tires.)

This song is older than they are, but what a nice version.

The official video is kinda trippy.

Imagine paying the price of tickets nowadays and seeing that performance, people would be going ballistic. lol

Dark Night of the Soul

On a dark night,
Kindled in love with yearnings
–oh, happy chance!–
I went forth without being observed,
My house being now at rest.

In darkness and secure,
By the secret ladder, disguised
–oh, happy chance!–
In darkness and in concealment,
My house being now at rest.

In the happy night,
In secret, when none saw me,
Nor I beheld aught,
Without light or guide, save that which burned in my
heart.

This light guided me
More surely than the light of noonday
To the place where he (well I knew who!) was awaiting me–
A place where none appeared.

Oh, night that guided me,
Oh, night more lovely than the dawn,
Oh, night that joined Beloved with lover,
Lover transformed in the Beloved!

Upon my flowery breast,
Kept wholly for himself alone,
There he stayed sleeping, and I caressed him,
And the fanning of the cedars made a breeze.

The breeze blew from the turret
As I parted his locks;
With his gentle hand he wounded my neck
And caused all my senses to be suspended.

I remained, lost in oblivion;
My face I reclined on the Beloved.
All ceased and I abandoned myself,
Leaving my cares forgotten among the lilies.

Longest night I ever saw
2x

Howling 'round my happy home
2x

I've been pushing all my love
2x

Longest night I ever saw
2x

Strange face, with your eyes
So pale and sincere
Underneath, you know well
You have nothing to fear
For the dreams that came to you
when you were young
Told of a life where spring has sprung

You would seem so frail
In the cold of the night
When the armies of emotion
Go out to fight
But while the earth
Sinks to its grave
You sail to the sky
On the crest of a wave

So forget this cruel world
Where I belong
Ill just sit and wait
And sing my song
And if one day
you should see me in the crowd
Lend a hand and lift me
To your place in the cloud

Don't know where we're going
But I know I saw in your eyes
My life growing
To unite with u

And the time is towing us to age
And tossing years
But we're still glowing
Like we never knew

We took a decision
To have no definition
And our ammunition
Is to keep our love true

We chose to share a vision
More then we envisioned
While this song is playing
I want to dance with u

So put on that record that we use to listen to
When we found the truth
A golden soft memory in blue
To repaint it, in me and into u

Put on that record that we use to listen to
When we found the truth

I'm dancing in your garden
To ease up all that's harden
Plant a seed this morning
To see a flower bloom

Words need not be spoken
Sleeping souls have woken
And this song is not more then
A blooming after noon

For there is no other
For me u are the mother
A perfect sound of ever
In a perfect tune

As night slowly approaching
The sun is set for love
And when I see u smiling
I'm dancing with the moon

So put on that record that we use to listen to
When we found the truth
A golden soft memory in blue
To repaint it, in me and into u

So put on that record that we use to listen to
When we found the truth
A golden soft memory in blue
To repaint it, in me and into u

Don't know where we're going
But I know I saw in your eyes
My life growing
To unite with u

And the time is towing us to age
And tossing years
But we're still growing
Like we never knew

I'm dancing with the moon.

It was back in Little Bend that I saw you
Light was changing on the water
Where birds above had flown
There was pain in your eyes
So you vanished in the night
Missouri River in the distance
So I lied upon the lawn

I remember walking against the darkness of the beach
Love is like a ghost in the distance, out of reach
Travel through the night 'cause there is no fear
Alone but right behind, until I watched you disappear

I'm moving through the dark
Of a long black night
Just moving with the moon
And the light it shines
And I'm thinking of a place
And it feels so very real
Just moving through the dark

Once I had a dream
I was falling from the sky
Coming down like running water
Passing by myself in light

In the morning, I would wake
To the sound of someone's voice
Like little whispers through the silence

I'm moving through the dark
Of a long black night
I'm looking at the moon
And the light it shines
But I'm thinking of a place
And it feels so very real
Oh, sufferer of love

Come and take my hand, babe
There's a turn in the road that we've been taking
Let it set you free
'Cause there's a rhythm in the way that we've been moving
Yeah, there's a darkness over there, but we ain't going

See it through my eyes
Walk me to the water
Hold my hand as something turns to me
Love me every night
Drown me in the water
Hold my hand, is something turning me?

See it through my eyes
Love me like no other
And hold my hand as something turns to me
And turns me into you

Lead me through tonight
Pull me from the water
Hold my hand as something turns to me
Turns me into you

Just see it through my eyes
Love me like no other
Hold my hand as something turns to me
Turns me into you
Turning me into you

Whisper in the wind sent me home
I'd believed there was somethin more
Learned so much fell in love with you
Took my chances with what I knew
With the places that had stained my hands
And the files that I'd stored on my shelf
Spent so long in the world givin chase
Thought my place was some other place
I belong here and I belong with you
And all of our questions belong here too
We been high darlin we been low
And all of it's helped us grow
We belong here and we deserve to dream

Every wakin hour of every wakin day
I wake up to the sound of discussions in my brain
I don't know the answer and I don't know the truth
And I don't really know what I been draggin since my youth
But I push on I philosophy
Keep my prophecies by my side
And I hope to meet you at the gates
See that light shinin on your face
Coz I belong here and I belong with you
And all of our answers reside here too
We been high darlin we been low
And all of it's helped us grow
We belong here and we deserve to dream
Dream

Every breakin hour tho a little more would break
And the courage could be summoned to bring about some change
And the plans would form to build a brand new castle
To the sky we'd soar with the wings of an eagle
Stone cold sober with whiskey on my breath
South America runnin thru my head
With you I was taken
It was you I was not mistaken
You belong here and you belong with me
And all of your secrets are safe with me
We been high darlin we been low
And all of it's helped us grow
We belong here and we deserve to dream

All we want is runnin down the mountains
And all we need is flowin thru the trees
All we have is swimmin in the ocean
And all we can do is be the best that we can be

All we want is runnin down the mountains
And all we need is flowin thru the trees
All we have is swimmin in the ocean
And all we can do is be the best that we can be

All we want is runnin down the mountains
And all we need is flowin thru the trees
All we have is swimmin in the ocean
And all we can do is be the best that we can be

And I hope to meet you at the gates
See that light shinin on your face

What a POS! the man on his mobile can obviously walk, just step away,no need to be so despicable, what a repugnant human being.
As he should have. Might have been staged as the camera is conveniently located at a favorable angle and is running just when he charges the musician. The way he neatly shuts down the speaker is inconsistent with his brazen aggression.

Found God in a Tomato

967194_callofcathulhu_found-god-in-a-tomato.png

I'm barely operating
Yet a functional being
I always seemed to be vacant
Parading myself as an abductee

Then one day I was transposed
From a simple young man
To a godly tomato that held all existence
And told me that we should expand

And now the world will always revolve
Around me
(I'll wake up and I'll always be fine)
Now I know
(Everything always will be easy)
And the way I like
(I'm grateful that I held that tomato)
So, it could change my life
'Cause I'm different
At least I thought so

What a triumphant occasion
Oh, to change your design
Oh, that one thought has left my head
On a pillow on my cloud nine

I wonder how many more fruits
Can connect to my head
I would take a papaya
Travel the world and the universe as two best friends

And now the world will always revolve
Around me
(I'll wake up and I'll always be fine)
Now I know
(Everything always will be easy)
And the way I like
(I'm grateful that I held that tomato)
So, it could change my life
'Cause I'm different
At least I thought so

And I've found it gets harder every time
I count backwards in my head
Time, I'm coming back with
Time, I'm coming back with
Time, I'm not here

I'm coming back with
I'm coming back with
I'm coming back with
All my life

All my life

Around me
(I'll wake up and I'll always be fine)
Now I know
(Everything always will be easy)
And the way I like
(I'm grateful that I held that tomato)
So, it could change my life
'Cause I'm different
At least I thought so

Just a simple reminder of how far we've come small town boy..

37659020_10155316197250738_6975536542408245248_n.jpg

You leave in the morning
With everything you own
In a little black case
Alone on a platform
The wind and the rain
On a sad and lonely face

Mother will never understand
Why you had to leave
But the answers you seek
Will never be found at home
The love that you need
Will never be found at home

Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.

Pushed around and kicked around
Always a lonely boy
You were the one
That they'd talk about around town
As they put you down
And as hard as they would try
They'd hurt to make you cry
But you never cried to them
Just to your soul
No you never cried to them
Just to your soul

Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.

Cry , boy, cry...

You leave in the morning
With everything you own
In a little black case
Alone on a platform
The wind and the rain
On a sad and lonely face

Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.
Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away.

Well, as a child I mostly spoke inside my head
I had conversations with the clouds, the dogs, the dead
And they thought me broken, that my tongue was coated lead
But I just couldn't make my words make sense to them
If you only listen with your ears I can't get in

And I spent my evenings pullin' stars out of the sky
And I'd arrange them on the lawn where I would lie
And in the wind I'd taste the dreams of distant lives
And I would dress myself up in them through the night
While my folks would sleep in separate beds and wonder why

And through them days I was a ghost atop my chair
My dad considered me a cross he had to bear
And in my head I'd sing apologies and stare
As my mom would hang the clothes across the line
And she would try to keep the empty from her eyes

So, then one afternoon I dressed myself alone
I packed my pillowcase with everything I owned
And in my head I said goodbye, then I was gone
And I set out on the heels of the unknown
So my folks could have a new life of their own
So that maybe I could find someone
Who could hear the only words that I'd known

It smells of ''orchestrated'' doesn't it? there's a clinical term for those people, but we simply refer to them as attention whores. Everybody know some, some are even in their own family, but the less said the better.. If it was real, someone would have intervened, certainly would not get away with that on our watch. Sure we're older and not in our physical prime and maybe we can't pack our own lunch anymore, but some of us can still pack a pretty good punch. This movie is a good example, can't go wrong with Duval and Caine, and its got that kid that sees dead people. A jolly good time for the whole family.

Cool,I was thinking hearing some unfamiliar Nordic music, then I heard it! How'd you find that? did you google ''Nordic thrash music'' and forgot the first H? lol.
I do like a catchy pop song, but I mostly follow scandinavian pop music because I find it more melodic than the american stuff.

Made in Sweden and Sommersol are a couple of playlists I dig into here and then.

"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light;
I have loved the stars too truly to be fearful of the night"

~ Sarah Williams

193008473_10157536817180738_6897708730994571494_n.jpg

When the sun goes down, down on your street
Oh, let me be the one you meet
In the lamplight hung of the night thats just begun

And though you fear where shadows fall
There’s nothing there to harm you at all
Uncover your eyes, presume uncertain skies

And rise, arise
Step into the night, it’ll be alright

When the sun goes down, down on your street
And you’re feeling strangely incomplete
Oh, please don’t grieve for days that fell like leaves

Under a moon that hangs from silver strings
We know not what this darkness brings
The stars all gleam with possibilities

So rise, arise
Step into the night, it’ll be alright

When the sun goes down, down on your street
Oh, let me be the one you meet
For I’ve waited years for you to return to me

So rise, arise
Step into the night
Yes rise, arise
And step into the night
Arise, arise
And step into the night, it’ll be alright

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
You think you've lost your love
Well, I saw her yesterday
It's you she's thinkin' of
And she told me what to say
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad
She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind
But now she says she knows
You're not the hurtin' kind
She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah
With a love like that
You know you should be glad
You know it's up to you
I think it's only fair
Pride can hurt you, too
Apologize to her
Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad, ooh

Who doesn't? I like catchy pop even if I don't like it,know what I mean? I won't purchase material but won't turn it off,it's tame and inoffensive and goes well in the background but won't go see those type live.
You must have heard of The Cardigans,we were brought to a show of theirs when we were in Sweden decades ago, they were big but didn't know them, not our type of show.

Find it interesting that you gravitate that way being a fan of hockey which has a lot of intensity. The music you hear in arenas is typically high energy.

One of those songs reminds me of this song.

The music choice and aggressive avatar, should anyone be concerned? lol.
