I listened to Focus live yesterday. Akkerman is a damn good guitarist and the keyboard/flute/yodel guy can really hit the high notes.
Many have no clue how great he is,if he was from the UK or the States everyone would know,he was way ahead of his time. That would be Thijs van Leer,a wide range of octaves and of course multiple instruments.
I'm not into watching other people reactions but this song gets a lot of WTF????Thought this one was worth seeing,a tad different as it was an herbal marathon.:thumbu::thumbu::cool::laugh:
If not familiar with the story, when appearing on the show, they were asked to shorten the song, they just played it much faster yet never missed a note! All very talented musicians.

I'm not much for watching other peoples reactions bu

The most overrated rapper of all time

I wouldn't go far as to say that as he does have some great stuff, but there's a number of rappers I prefer both historically and currently. Don't love the prophet thing he seems to have embraced either.

Got tickets to the Stereolab concert in October. I'm psyched.

He's smoking on yo top 5 tonight.

Don't address him unless it's with four letters.

DOOM, Pusha, UGK, Freddie Gibbs, Biggie.

That's cool, thanks. Saw it was a cover and well done:thumbu: What compelled you guys to do that tune? encounter with Dutch soccer hooligans?
Zak is Dutch, was born there, and I believe it was he who suggested it. Listening to it today, it was pretty good, not our best rendition but only one take. We'd get together and jam regularly, but this was the only recording. This one I also like, it's Bob's turn to sing. I especially like the little hook after each verse. The 2 guitars mix well.

Floor's new single solo.

Sounds like fun times, cool. I can almost smell the atmosphere;)I really can, odd,oh,it's my brother up to no good:laugh:

Went to some clubs with one of my cousins daughters and her friends, does that make her my niece?:dunno:never know how that works:doh:
She told me that the lead singer must have stolen my dance moves  Don't know about that but sure looks like he stole my fashion sense though.
Got introduced to this type of music from the kids,f-in strange and weird but strangely compelling.

Freddie King's Going Down should be the official Toronto Maple Leafs game 7 theme song. :)

I also quite enjoyed this version from Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks and Dusty Hill from the Rock Hall Of Fame induction of Freddie King in 2012.
