Out in Vancouver recently and they had someone singing in the late afternoon outside Canada Place. I could hear it each day inside my hotel room. They did the following song. I won't judge too harshly as they were around the corner, across the street and on the other side of my window, but really didn't do it justice. Better than I would have, no doubt, but still.

Saw these guys a few years ago backing up Alabama Shakes

A buddy of mine from high school was a big fan of these guys.
Did Gene Simmons steal Zals makeup and moves?

SAHB was bizarrely great. Sometimes they tied Alex up, left him behind stage and performed without him. I can see why :)

Nice comparision though Zal was a smiling clown and Gene was, well, the sadist. Haven't watched Zal mime/make faces/clown while playing guitar in quite a while, thanks!

I had completely forgotten about SAHB. We used to listen so much. Thanks for dredging this out of the dark for me.

Sorta hard to listen to but a masterclass in mixing.

I've really enjoyed Tom Jones all my life, thanks to my mother's crush on him. He was a constant on the console stereo (which I still have, weighs about 200 pounds). Thought this version of Delilah was amazing, and equally stunned it got airtime at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee given the actually content of the song.

The postings above about SAHB reminded me that they did a version as well. So I had grown up listening to Tom Jones and I'm at a buddies place and he plays this version. Just an odd, odd video.

Side note: would really appreciate Kilter brewing an IPA at less than 8%.
