Well literally he is ... FFS why not... ?

You're definitely there now...

And followed by this one as well... damn he was good... the album "Whiskey for the Holy Ghost" is amazing...

I gotta go to bed... bummer...

Album #21
Def Leppard - High 'n' Dry (1981)
Remember when Def Leppard were good?
Haha.. I only came across this album later, much after Pyromania was released.
I remember though seeing the video for 'Bringing On the Heartbreak' on Citivision around the time that "Pyro" was out and I was super excited because it was a song I'd never heard before. Does anyone else remember Citivision Friday nights at midnight? My favourite song on the album though is 'Another Hit and Run'

I heard a new Arctic Monkeys song recently, which made me want to listen to old Arctic Monkeys songs, which helped me realize one of our posters borrowed his name from one of those songs. @MardyBum

Listening to some more early 70s music ...

I attended many "Sundowner" nights at the Calgary Stampede, and of course Gordon's anthem played very prominently there :)

Speaking of Gordon Lightfoot -- I don't know if he ever approved of this hard rock cover of his perhaps most famous song, but frankly, I think it's amazing. Heavy Metal X Folk FTW!

I've posted this video before but it's a prelude to the second. I'm clearly in love with Amanda Shires (she, her husband and my wife don't know it) but Brandi Carlisle doesn't get enough credit. Thanks to algorithms I found the second and it's a full on wow moment.

My God in Heaven, that cover of 'The Chain'. It marches on with a slow, inexorable beat. Ponderous at times, but always unstoppable. Like, dayum.

EDIT: will ALWAYS stan for electric guitar X electric violin. Always. Queen's "Who Wants To Live Forever?" is the best of that.

Yep, Amanda Shires is all that. Huge crush over here.

Her husband though is Jason Isbell who is an awesome singer songwriter. So I’m going to let him keep her. 😂
