What where you expecting for Beaulieu? The guy is terrible, and he has a disgusting attitude. So glad he is gone, I could take a dump on the ice and it would still be better defensively than Beaulieu. Hope Beaulieu has a great time at Buffalo, and not try to fight a door or something.

The stuff one has to read here.

We lost the Subban for Weber trade by quite a bit.
We traded a former 17th overall pick for 3rd round pick.
Traded 2 early 2nds for Shaw and signed him to 6 years 4 mil a year deal.
We threw away a 4th and a 6th for complete trash in King and Ott.
Traded Pateryn and 4th for Benn
Tradr Racine and a 6th for Nesterov.

Bergevin is trading players and assets away without getting much in return.

I only read the first line of your post. You lose all credibility after posting something like that.
You may like Subban and all his histrionic antics more and that's okay. But I like the solid quiet D with the booming slapshot even more.

I prefer the solid D with a booming shot that happens to be incredibly more versatile, as do most people.

Subban's antics have literally no impact on how good they are as players, but it sure seems like that's what got to the head of many posters.

I am sure Drouin would be a good center , he has the speed

I would get Duchene as first center and drouin as second

No need to get 2 centres . Danault as third c . Triple D , A lot of speed

What?

Lmaooooooooooooooo

We lost the trade, but whatever it's the past

I am a big fan of adding bonafide talent to the team, so I'm happy with this trade. Just gotta hope Mete and Juulsen turn out to be top 4.Otherwise, the D is gonna be a mess in a couple of years.

Imo Mete will, not sure about Juulsen tho.

If you've ever played on a team you know the selfish antics of a player DOES indeed have an impact on the culture of the team.

Subban is a talent there is no doubt. but all his peripheral B.S. takes away from TEAM.

Weber + Price > Subban + Condon
Therefore, Weber made Habs better. :sarcasm:

Drouin can be forgiven for something actually among the most selfish things anyone can do in sports but people will somehow still blast Subban and suggest he couldn't remain on the team. It's just the way it is.

Hopefully Bergevin keeps Radulov. Drouin and him should make the Habs much easier to watch and at least not need to bore fans to death every game.

Didn't seem to be the case this year.

Did you watch the playoffs this year?

Like really, who gives a **** about Subban antics. He was one of the best dmen if not the best.

[mod]. Subban destroys old man Weber defensively and offensively and the playoffs proved that. Weber had a good game 1 and 2, then he was just lost defensively until we got eliminated...Subban was killing it start to finish.

Sorry.

Really stoked about Habs getting Drouin. Long-time fan.

Drouin got 53 pts playing with Killorn, Filppula, Point, and Boyle

It will be interesting to see how much he produce playing with Galchenyuk, Radulov, Lehkonen, and Gallagher

He barely even played with Point.

And yet all the French speaking fans are okay with the selfish antics of Drouin. I guess refusing to report to the farm team is type of the "character" that the Habs need.

The way Cooper screamed at him...

I wished MT screamed at Galchenyuk and treated Galchenyuk like Drouin was treated. There would have been a riot here.

I appreciate a player who stand his ground and answer the bell. He was their best PO performer in 2016. You know, it requires a massive pair of balls to do what Drouin did, and he answered the ****ing bell. That's not leadership and it's a bit egoist i agree. But that tells a lot about this kid talent and attittude. He is a ****ing winner.

Drouin has a special attittude for sure but he will thrive with the pressure here. Enjoy his talent. We are lucky to have him. There is a context that made him available to us and we should rejoice of this because player of his caliber are untouchable.
