I would take Weber over Subban ten times out of ten. The only downside for Montreal is Weber's age.

Did you watch the playoffs? Weber was brutal and the speed game is only going to get more and more present throughout the league.

Weber is better defensively, I like his point shot, and he's a great team player. Subban is definitely talented, but I think Montreal gets the better deal here.

PK Subban is 4 years younger and that, to me, is the most significant thing here in my opinion. That counts for a lot. During the contracts each player is in right now I see Shea Weber declining but I don't see that for PK, he's still just 27.

Plus Subban is more dynamic offensively and you can argue more versatile. I don't understand this AT ALL for Montreal.

Both the coach and the GM hated him from the start. The coach hated him while he was still working in the french medias before he got hired. Talking about the french medias, they have been talking **** about him forever. I suspect a mix of prudeness and racism is the equation for all this hate coming from the direction and the media...
