The Montreal Canadiens have their own on-ice troll in the form of Brandon Gallagher. The young forward got in a pretty good burn on Ott during the Canadiens 3-0 victory of the Blues on Tuesday night.

During the game Gallagher asked Ott how long he has been in the NHL, to which Ott told him 15 years. Gallagher replied by telling him “15 years is a long time to do nothing at all!â€

Character is subjective. It can be interpreted differently.

Ott and Shaw have character , just like Subban did. They just portray it differently.

Taking penalties or chirping opponents, or not having the same skill level doesnt mean you have less character.

I do not want Ott anywhere near the ice but yeah, pressure is on Mitchell to step it up. He has been invisible (both good and bad) but end of the day, he needs to produce at least a little or make a bigger impact during the game. The season doesn't end after October.

It wouldn't surprise me that MB' motivation to trade for Ott is two fold. One is to make the Habs harder to play against and the other was to help Chucky improve in the face off circle at practice.
