Not sure who the footballer is but it's been a thing for years now.

There was even some official Habs hype video that had that in it. Edit: No sorry, that was "Big Nick Energy"

Lol I'm sure his teammates don't call him big dick Nick. That'd be kinda weird after a while.
there is an american football player named nick foles who apparently earned the nickname quite legitimately in college

like it came from his teammates in a locker room full of people pushing 6’5 some of em, 330 pounds others etc 😂

It might just be a three way win-win-win situation

Very rare to see that happen
It seems many Habs fans have determined they are the clear and only winner.
Romanov (to NYI) to some of them is a 3rd pair guy.
The high picks (to Chgo) will be busts. … likely something they are used to.
Dach playing good for 15 games makes them the clear and only winner.

By now you should be used to read many stupid opinions from teams wich have a huge numbers of fans.. Its just a law of numbers

Most of our fans have a balanced view on this trade but obviously we will have 4-5 bozos going to yell victory on main boards after a good game from Dach

Big Dick Origi ? Big Cock Divock ?

The one and only Divock Origi.

Edit: You meant football, like american football...

Hawks off-season...woof!

Woof!

You are aware the Blackhawks are actively trying to be bad, right?

They could have kept Dach, but it was clear he needed a change of scenery. He was rushed, injured, rushed again, I dont think he trusted the organization anymore and the organization was ready to turn the page and start burning it down.

Dach wouldnt be placing this well as a C in Chicago. Happy he’s finding some success in Montreal.

I think this is a fair and underrated comment we also just saw this take place to in Buffalo

Decent trade for the Islanders, getting a good young defensive D for their core for a middle pick in a weak draft but for Chicago, Jesus. Some could call it cosmic karma for the Hawks but even in my wildest dreams I didn't think Dach would be this impactful this quickly and then Nazar goes down with possibly a season ending injury which might already derail his development. Incredible.

I think there's no point in analyzing this trade from CHI perspective until at least a few years.

So far the most established player is still Romanov.

Trade is looking like a win-win, and could end up as a win-win-win

No no no we’re going to look back when Nazar is a 70pt guy and Dach the same and make fun of the isles for only getting a top 4 D when what they really needed was Dach to complement Barzy as a wing or on the second line as a center

Sincerely, a hawks fan who’s hurting every day

Reactions: HabsQC
The reason Dach is playing great is that he's on a line with equals. He can count on his efforts being rewarded rather then propping up dead beats and 3rd liners.

That line is going to put all three of them in the top 20 in points. Probably top 10 for Suzuki.

On on top of that we get that odd poster who comes into threads just to start crap with outright lies.
1 poster in this thread called Romanov a #4/5. The rest claimed he was a #3/4.
I haven't read in this thread where all these Habs claimed that high picks to Chi will be bust?
And best of all where are all these Hab fans that have determined they are the clear and only winner?
Man I must have a reading problem

There's always those few.

Dach playing better since move to wing. As a center I would have kept the pick, but as winger Habs got a gem.
At times he plays C while Nick plays down low on wing. Then swap positions depending on the situation. Their chemistry makes them a dangerous duo with Cole as the pure winger.

Dach will be back at C eventually.

As for Romanov, at the time of the trade, i was enraged. But i see the value, and not because Dach is breaking out - it’s because Guhle, Harris and Xhekaj have shown they belong.

With Nazar, Chicago rolled the dice. A #13 pick may never play in the NHL. With Dach, the Habs knew they had a NHL player with size on their hands. Only the ceiling was/is unknown... will it be 40 points or 60 or 70 points per year?
