Still haven’t seen Eternals.

First MCU movie I skipped.

I watched one episode of Moon Knight and haven’t watched Ms. Marvel.

I’m “meh” on She Hulk. Phase 4 has jumped the shark for me.
Tv show Loki has been the best thing in this phase imo.

I definitely don’t enjoy it as much as phase 3 that’s for sure. I feel like phase 4 has been strictly a building phase. Hopefully it sets the table for some high quality stuff in the future

I did the same with Moon Knight. But I really enjoyed Ms, Marvel. The young lady who played her was really great in the role.

Save your money on Eternals, one of the worst super hero movies ever.
I hear it’s bad but I gotta watch it, those are the rules unfortunately. Fortunately I don’t have to pay for it so I only have to waste some of my very finite amount of time on this planet

Went to see Thor Love and Thunder today, just sort of so so, not terrible, but not that great either, seems like Marvel has gone down with this latest phase.

I did not see Morbius or Venom 2 yet, but heard they were not very good either. I find this past year or so the super hero genre has not been that great, seems like they are just making movies without much thought and throwing it out there knowing people will go see it anyway. If you want to see a good movie that is totally different from the above mention movies, I went a couple weeks ago to see where the crawdads sing, very surprised by it, great story.

When we were clearing out my parents' house, I came across a movie collection that we had bought my Dad a while back - 20th Century Fox 75th Anniversary Collection. My mother passed away in June and my Dad had been moved to memory care. My Dad is such a huge movie buff, he had about 500 DVDs in his collection. We have decided to watch one movie a week from the Anniversary collection, in the order of the years starting in 1933.

So, my first movie was "Cavalcade" from 1933. We got through it and it was actually quite fascinating to see the acting, costumes, "special effects", and they even said the word "hell"....lol It is also ironic to see how they were worried about a lot of the same things we worry about now. It will be an experience, even if we think we may not enjoy a movie, we will do our best to get through it. It actually made me feel closer to my parents, one was born in 1932, the other 1933.

So, Cavalcade gets 3.5 stars out of 5.

Woodstock 99 3 part documentary on Netflix is a beauty. Crazy how everything went down.
Just watched that. Cant believe that was in 99. The videos looks so long ago. Wouldve thought it was from the 70s.
I remember 1999 so well too. Great year, Music was so good back then.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High came out 40 years ago!
good lord I`m old, speaking of Sean Penn, just watched Flag Day which his kids were in, based on true and tragic story, one of those rare movies where I already know the outcome but was still exceptionally good

Watched “Belfast” again tonight on HBO. Saw it when it first came out as well. What a wonderful movie…..and I’m not even Irish.

9 out of 10…..and I’m a tough grader.

Watched a 2004 Dutch documentary on an inside look into the lives of people in North Korea. It was quite interesting snippet of a period in time that feels like yesterday to some but is verging on being 20 years ago.
