Hell baby
I finally gave Eternals a shot last night and made it maybe 45 minutes.
Would’ve been significantly better as a TV show. To me it was both too long and tried to cram too much into it. Hard to do that.

I got through it and it does pick up a little bit but yeah, as far as marvel movies goes it’s definitely the very worst one

Yep.

Got “Watchmen” vibes from what I did watch.

I wanted to buy into the story, but the characters felt like shells of actual fleshed out figures.

Mr. Make-Believe

The happy genius of my household
Watched this last night on HBO. One of the worst pieces of crap I’ve sat through in half a century. Total .5 / 10 garbage.

Is it the single most stupid movie of all time?

I think it may be.

It was almost marvellous in how utterly relentlessly f***ing braindead it was. One scene to the next just attempt after attempt to trump the idiocy of the scene before it.

it is interesting to watch the actors from that time, I know Rita Hayward was a heart throb but she drove me crazy with her constant Cheshire cat smile....reminded me of the smiling kid in line to see Santa in A Christmas Story! Funny too, she sang and played the guitar but her fingers never moved on the frets.

Have you watched the trailer(s)?

They are appalling.

And to think I was actually looking forward to it

Im bummed.
I was nostalgically looking forward to it too.
It’s as bad as you could imagine.

Watched the beginning last night before the Bruins.

Finishing it now.

Truly dreadful.

I grew up watching the reruns on Nick at Nite. Love the show.

Watched Adam Sandler's new basketball movie Hustle over the weekend. Its more of a drama than a comedy, with Sandler playing an NBA scout. The storyline is a bit cliche, but it was enjoyable. I don't regret watching it.

3 out of 5 stars.

"Gilda" and "The Lady from Shanghai" are my two favorite Rita Hayward films.

one of my fav pods is How Did This Get Made, judging by comments here, it`ll be on there in due time, this pod is hilarious if you need a nice, light pod

I watched an utterly charming movie called Maudie with Ethan Hawke last night. It was really moving.
Hawke is one of my favorite actors, so under appreciated

I used to love going to the movies. Havent since 2017. Just nothing in theaters and it seems everything streams or isnt in theaters long. Even looking now and theres nothing that temps me to spend the money.

we watched the Greatest Beer Run Ever last night, not typically a Zac Efron fan but this movie had a little bit of everything, some laughs, serious moments. Well spent time watching it, won`t be on anyone`s Oscar list but I don`t always watch movies that are Oscar worthy, I watch them to be entertained and this one did that for us

One of the worst movies I have seen and only brining it up again because the hurricane had me thinking id be swept into the ocean

But basically a couples hotel room gets like knocked out to see in a storm. So basically theyre floating in the ocean in a room. Room keeps falling apart and I forget how but a shark starts to stalk them. Alicia Silverstone looks awful. Acting sucked, story sucked, shark sucked……

I mean a room getting sucked into the ocean and no rescue called ? Lol
