Yes and no. Almost exactly the same. Only difference is that Perron’s was direct to the head and to a guy that hadn’t done a single thing.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if Rielly gets the same or even more to remind players they can’t respond like that.

I hate dirty stick work. Especially when it’s revenge
Zub didn't do anything, but Perron did think he did something,

Also, there's another angle floating around from a cell phone recording that seems to show a pretty direct hit by Reilly as opposed to it ridding up.

Very unlike Rielly. I guess the Leaf fans who think Rielly is a number 4 at best will get to see how this blueline moves the puck without him for a while.

We should also see if the "first time offender" comes into play in his favour, or if the wheel will be the wheel.

Playoff games tend to count as double, slash vs crosscheck to the head (they've really been trying to crack down on hits to the head).

I could see two for that (equivalent of four in the reg season), was draisaitl hurt?
For sure, that usually the case. Except for Kadri (twice suspended while on the Leafs) and Bunting that received full series suspensions.

Here's a team frequently at the bottom of the division pulling off a win against a very hyped team headed to the playoffs.
I don't even dislike the slapper that much as he's sealing the win after holding off the more talented team trying to tie things up.
I guess punch him in the face or body-check him if you have a problem there.

dramatic franchise is dramatic
assess the penalty and move on
