That is exactly one of the problems that I see and hear about Hockey Culture.

He took a slapper into an EN after a hard fought game amongst adult professionals teammates and opponents are all Brothers from the same Union...

Unfortunately, at least one Adult on the Maple Leafs roster is such a Fragile human being, Morgan abandoned all sense of reasoning, goes beyond being a sore loser which is unsportsmanlike in and of itself, does not have any sense of how to settle himself. He then intentionally skates over to an unsuspecting Union Brother after the whistle is blown and the play is long over and dead. Proceeds to take a weapon which is designed to have thick carbon fibre layers for increased durability in two hands and proceeds to crosscheck his Union Brothers in the shoulder/head area, ultimately making either indirect or direct contact with the head.

All because Ridley and the Senators outplayed and worked hard than Morgan and the Maple Leafs...

In addition to a 15+ game suspension; Morgan should be sentenced to see a sports psychologist for anger management and strategies to utilize for treating his Union Brothers with dignity and respect for the remainder of his playing career.

This will be very telling. An in person hearing might send a nice message as I'm sure the players are noticing that all the headshots are getting suspensions.

These suspensions cost the players serious money. If the league goes six for Reilly that is a big chunk of cash. The rest of the players will definitely take notice. Plus, it will send the message that attacking a guys head with your stick well after the play will cost serious time and money.
