Gryz sucks and everyone in Boston are hoping he’s suspended the remainder of the season, Rielly is arguably the only Leafs dman that belongs in a top 4. It’s not enjoyable to read a thread of Bruins fans saying please suspend our own player, it’s funny seeing leaf fans do mental gymnastics for their soft team. Thats why this thread is almost at cap. If Marchand did what Reilly did last night it would be the same length of a thread with most of the leaf fans on the other side of the argument.

But seriously, I'm not so sure. At least the type of history the Leafs have had the last ~10 years. It's all pain, as this soft core doesn't live up year after year. Now their fate is sealed, there's no hope. At least if there's been some form of playoff success in there I'd say it'd be fun, but not so sure.

No, you don't understand. Even though it's not written down, everything is in the code and everyone knows what is in the code, and anything that happens is justified by the code. Personally I am just happy there is a little bit of a juice in a dead rivalry for once in the last decade. Rielly earned his suspension....love that guy though lol
And Marchand would get a game (possibly). Took out Liljegren for 2 months of the season and HFBoards saw nothing wrong with the play. Leafs fan did. With Rielly, both Leafs fans and other fanbases are agreeing a suspension is worthy.
Leafs fans are saying he'll be suspended. Other fans are saying he won't because he plays for the Leafs. We'll see who is right.
We're gonna eclipse 100 pages easily and people will still whine why we get so much Leafs coverage.

Why do I need to talk to Melnyk?
The argument of "I'd rather miss the playoffs than get bounced early" is that you get a better pick to get back in the playoff race sooner but that hasn't come close for the Sens for a long time. What's the hope for the Sens? They have a very talented forward core and some good defensemen yet they are still a bottom 5 team.

I have this theory brewing that DOPS has turned a page and are actually taking headshots seriously... 4 in a row now they've done someting near reasonable and with some consistency
Trouba in a play no one saw that was a total dick move
Dillon (dick move but some will say for being 'too tall')

That is exactly one of the problems that I see and hear about Hockey Culture.
He took a slapper into an EN after a hard fought game amongst adult professionals teammates and opponents are all Brothers from the same Union...
Unfortunately, at least one Adult on the Maple Leafs roster is such a Fragile human being, Morgan abandoned all sense of reasoning, goes beyond being a sore loser which is unsportsmanlike in and of itself, does not have any sense of how to settle himself. He then intentionally skates over to an unsuspecting Union Brother after the whistle is blown and the play is long over and dead. Proceeds to take a weapon which is designed to have thick carbon fibre layers for increased durability in two hands and proceeds to crosscheck his Union Brothers in the shoulder/head area, ultimately making either indirect or direct contact with the head.
All because Ridley and the Senators outplayed and worked hard than Morgan and the Maple Leafs...
In addition to a 15+ game suspension; Morgan should be sentenced to see a sports psychologist for anger management and strategies to utilize for treating his Union Brothers with dignity and respect for the remainder of his playing career.
