Grieg shouldn't have done that and Rielly shouldn't have cross checked him in the face, probably would have been better if they just fought and dropped the gloves.
I’ll be watching that Leaf’s goaltending come playoff time - should be fine
1 HUGE bright side is Leaf-Sens games will be interesting againSome people in here who didn't live through the real Battle of Ontario in the early 2000s would need a therapist to deal with what happened in the playoffs between the leafs and Sens if they can't handle what happened last night. This was just a love tap in comparison

Any less than Perron is unjustifiableWe need a smart poster to make a poll on the number of games Reilly will get. I’m saying 5+
well yea, the guy Perron hit was a bystanderI love how people are somehow making this excusable but Perron going for the guy standing over his lifeless teammate was inexcusable.
I agree that no fines or suspensions should be given to anyone, I was point out that IF there are any fines Grieg should be one of them because he provoked the incident.I'll be the first to admit that taking a slapper into an empty net isn't nothing and the opposing team will have feelings about it.
Your last line is absolutely ridiculous and stupid and you should be ashamed of yourself.
There's nothing - NOTHING - fineable, suspendable, or worth cross checking someone in the face for it.
What a terrible take
If took a hockey stick and cross checked my neighbor in the face I'd go to jail.
Great games but was there an attack on a goal scorer who skating to his bench well after the play was over. Some people in here who didn't live through the real Battle of Ontario in the early 2000s would need a therapist to deal with what happened in the playoffs between the leafs and Sens if they can't handle what happened last night. Well you'll have to watch something I suppose. Your team won't be in it.
100%,l its pretty lame that our biggest rival was the Jets lolThe rivalry needs it
really? I am a HUGE leafs homer and I think he deserves 3-5, but worth it, sometmes sending a msg to your room is worth a few gamesI agree that no fines or suspensions should be given to anyone, I was point out that IF there are any fines Grieg should be one of them because he provoked the incident.
haha. After this suspensions yours might not be either. Easy there big fella, Toronto isn’t anything close to being guaranteed playoff team
And every other sport handles it like Rielly did.
If a player jogs too slowly after hitting a home run the benches clear sometimes.
The NFL will give you a 15 yard personal foul if you stand over a player after hitting him, or celebrate in an opponent's face.
Stop acting like this is just a hockey thing.

Standing over his lifeless teammate. All Greig did was play hockey.well yea, the guy Perron hit was a bystander

OMG imagine he did that in the 70's. it would have been 5 guys in white beating on Grieg with sticks like a pinata lolNothing compared to years ago
Yet the Leafs struggle against that team hmmyour core are all signed long term and still last in the division, been a few years bud. Leafs might suck as well but atleast our team managed to get out of the basement
