he will literally never do that again, I will bet money on it. He may do other asshole things, because he is an asshole - but not that. and not against us
We’re talking about Ottawa here right?

If anything of any player from the sens gets that opportunity again 100% they will take it - regardless of player. I bet they’ll talk about it before their next game next year.

They want to tell Morgan in person that he did a good job and that he gets to announce that Ottawa is losing another pick.
or its dismissed because it was up to the Sens to send in the video footage and well the Sens Sens'd lol

You said he was aiming for the shoulder, and to that I said that it is a stupid place to aim for. The ribs are a lot more painful.
His intent wasn't serious injury just to inform the player he didn't approve of how he scored the empty net.

Really hard to tell if your a Leafs fan or a Sens fan with that post. To those who have no horse in the race it seems that both fanbases have been saying that exact quote for years now.
To be fair to the majority of Senators fans, the Melnyk/Dorion?DJSmith era is not one that had support. The stark opposite in fact as the Ottawa board turned in to a hate fest for 6+ years. Of course we still hoped for the best, but we all knew what was up. Even Karlsson's years in Ottawa were often budget squads leaking at the seams. Now it's a cap team with all new people, fingers crossed they know what they're doing.

Im not talking about "that stuff". He will continue to be a rat. He is a rat.

I'm talking about blasting the puck 100MPH into an empty net with 4 seconds left likes he's in the hardest shot competition at the All Star Game. Specifically THAT. He wont do that again. I guarantee it.

If he wanted to play in the All Star game he should play better.
It was actually clocked at 73mph. A tad hyperbolic on your part I’d say.

Jesse Boulierice got like 27 games for a similar cross check on Kesler but that was like 17 years ago
I googled that, and highly disagree.

A big difference is the direction of the force, and where it was directed. The Boulerice hit with the players skating towards each other with the big head snap back full cross check right to the head. With Rielly, the hit is in the direction of travel, so it mostly knocks him over, and it was a glancing hit with more than just stick, and against more than just the head. It is still a suspendable hit for sure, but imo 6 is even a lot

Lol he would be soft to not double down on the empty net clapper. Especially if reilly gets a lengthy suspension.
Unless his coach tells him not to, which I could totally see Martin doing. Who knows. Against the Leafs though...I would bet on him doing it again.

I don't think a soft player taking a pre-meditated cheap shot on him is the deterrent you think it is.

Just the biggest city in Canada and where the NHL operates out of, isn't it? I guess they are the center of the hockey universe. Which is gag worthy, but at least it's in Canada.
At least if its in New York, Rielly can take the subway and use the argument, it was no big deal because he got attacked 3 times on the subway alone lol

You think the bluejackets, Ducks, Hawks and Lightning give a rats ass about him showing up the leafs?
Man you guys really do think you're the center of the universe...

The Stars literally dropped a video four days ago hyping up their Toronto game, where their players talked about how important games in Toronto are.

It's simply reality.
