No. When he decided to taunt. You mean after he took a stick to the face?
Why didn’t Rielly drop the gloves?
You don’t initiate a fight by hitting a guy in the face with your stick.

agree to disagree - IMO the full wind up was for show, but I respect where you're coming from.Full wind up slap shot.

Yeah next time I hope Rielly just sucker punches someone instead
Much cleaner and more noble act than what went down on Saturday
First, second, or third time offense should have nothing to do with the initial suspension.10? For a first time offense?
That's to much
The Leafs have the most suspensions in the league since Parros took over. Considering they are widely regarded as the softest team in the entire league, this is something to note.
Are you expecting that I disagree? He taunted the leafs and their fans by putting a slow slapshop into the net. That's what makes it so damn funny. It was a taunt.
No, that isn't what he did at all. It’s not. I listened to it.
He’s using the “both sides” tribalism argument to try to make the goal and the reaction equivalent when they aren’t.
It happens all the time, but you’re referring to chirping. How often do you think taunting happens on the ice?
You think they just put the suspensions and retaliatory penalties aside because sticks and stones are the same as the words that are exchanged?
“He said bad things so I swung my stick at his head.”
“Oh, in that case, sorry about that, no penalty.”
LOL.
They did mention Perron, my apologies for not including it. Hard to remember every detail in a 10 minute segment or however long it was. It's interesting that Friedman didn't mention a more recent and comparable example in Perron.
I believe one might be more of a comparable as Perron has history with Dops. It's interesting that Friedman didn't mention a more recent and comparable example in Perron.
Thin-skinned leafs at it again.
That slapper is a thing of beauty
What makes this act selfless?
Would love to know the difference between the two instances. Is it cause he had another teammate near?
Did you just quote a guy that had been previously suspended for betting related offences, talk about classless...Yes I did:
Pinto: Yeah I thought it was pretty funny.
Norris: I loved it.
Anything else?
I didn't even get a thank you for all the research I did on their behalf"Damn I was lying, got called out for lying, and decided throwing a personal insult was the best course of action."
I see where Morgan gets it from.

I think people need to realize that Reilly doing this after the goal was scored and the play was over is what is going to ding him. It makes it almost impossible for him to say it was a play that went bad and not retaliation.
It becomes much more cut and dry
