I agree with Tkachuk, and I'm sure Rielly regrets what he did and wishes he just threw his gloves down. That said, they were just trying to stress that fans on both sides are emotional and defend their own team, and that if another team did it to the Sens (or really if ANY team was in that situation), the fans would have wanted a response.

I like Morgan's instincts to respond. The high cross check to the head is the wrong move though. Should have just squared up and dropped the gloves, 2 hand swing to the shin pads, or body check to the board. Cross check to the face is going to get him suspended 5 games or so.
