Moose Season Discussion

This team has been tough to watch the past 2 games. Nobody can make a clean pass, when they make a clean pass nobody can properly recieve it, when they do properly receive it they bobble it immediately and lose it. Every defenseman has been a disaster, Capo and Chisholm included.

Shots are about even, but Mann hasn't really had to make many tough saves. Milic has made quite a few.

Bongiovanni, finally. 2-1.

Anyone else having issues with AHL TV. My screen is blank and am just getting audio
It was down for about 10 minutes. You know this if you kept watching but in case you gave up just letting you know it's good now.

I kept watching.

I think Zhilkin will get credited for an assist on that goal. He touched the puck a few times in the paint I think.

One of the Moose's speedy forecheckers need to get on Mann. Guy really likes to play the puck but is really bad at it.

Went back to re-watch, Lucius' original pass might have gone off him but after that he didn't get a touch.

Chisholm looks rusty after sitting a month.

Bauer offers nothing but size. I wish we wouldn't waste picks on dmen like him.

Lundmark seems to have stagnated the last year and a bit. Was hoping he'd take a step forward this year.

Glad to see Chaz play. He needs a real run of games to get back on track. He is usually in the right spits but his timing is a bit off as is his decision making. Good news is he is playing at the required pace for this level. He needs reps and to get stronger on pucks.

Lambert is up and down. Flashes elite talent but then has sequences where he can't make simple 5 foot passes. Consistency is key for him. Has NHL tools.

Zhilkin is a good young player. Needs to fill out some but I think there is a chance he has a Namestnikov type career.

Chibrikov: Obvious skill and he likes to get his nose dirty. Hasn't been super noticeable today.

It's weird, nobody can make a 5 foot pass these past two games. Every time they try a Laval player somehow has a stick in the lane. Every time they try a longer pass it's just off, or picked off by a Laval player. Then whenever Laval gets in our zone they can make a dozen passes and get us running around.

Milic doesn't have a good save percentage this game but he's having a good game and it could be a lot worse without him. First goal Suess bowled him over, second was tipped, third was Sautner not getting the stick on the back door.

I wonder if Chisholm has been injured, are teams allowed to send players down for conditioning stints when they haven't been injured? He looks more than rusty, he can't win a foot race to save his life right now and his skating is usually such a strong part of his game.

Aaand another back door play. 4-1. Laval is one of the worst teams in the league.

His gap and pivots have been awful as well. He's been walked a number of times including on that last goal. He's usually a much better skater and normally never gets walked.

Yeah this is the worst I've seen him play, also the worst I've seen the team play in general.

Great hit Chibrikov.

Well that sucked. Onwards and upwards.
