I was at the game today. Moose just didn't have the offensive chops today. Salminen might've liked 1 or 2 of those goals back. One player I was impressed with was Simon Lundmark. I've seen some posters compare him to Dylan DeMelo and I think that's pretty much bang on. He's not going to produce much offense but I'd say he's a candidate to be the 3rd pair RHD on the Jets next season.

Good news about Lucius. Must have been a relatively mild concussion.

I don't think getting mildly concussed after being hit in the face with a stick adds to his previous injury history, aka: risk that he is just brittle. I guess it does add to him having been unlucky with injuries but since a tendency to be unlucky is not a real thing, luck eventually evens out. Right?

Certainly can't win much with the goaltending the Moose have been getting. I know its early, but Milic looks like the 2nd best G in the org right now. Does he get a shot with the Moose?

Milic backing up Salminen, aaand Salminen lets in the first shot of the game.


And he lets out a bad rebound on a second shot that gets put in. 2 goals on 3 shots. Might be Milic time soon. Really bad start for the whole team though.

Zhilkin dances around his defenseman and is in alone with the goalie, tries to pass it and it gets intercepted. Capo and Lundmark have also passed up opportunities to shoot in favor of a bad pass. No shots in 7 minutes.

And Kniazev finally gets the first shot.

No Lucius, he was hopeful for this game.

Chibrikov is just ferocious along the boards. Wins battles through pure effort.

Kniazev-Chisholm have been a disaster defensively in the first, hopefully just rust.

Capo tips a puck past Salminen to give Laval a short handed goal. 3-0.

Disaster of a game for the Moose so far. Weak blind passes left and right resulting in giveaways. Milic and Zhilkin the only two players that don't look awful.
