Moose Season Discussion

Somebody once said, “You guys are maybe underestimating just how hard it is to make the playoffs”. And they did push their first round series to the max so yeah, they've gotta be happy with this season.

I started out with high hopes for the Moose this season. They were going to have a very good D corps, Berdin & Holm were going to give them good goaltending and Lucius & Lambert would inject some dynamic offense.

I adjusted my expectations as those things fell by the wayside one by one. In the end, only the D corps came through and I think they did pretty well with what they had.

I'm bummed out....was hoping to go to a few more playoff games.

Hell, yes! Going matching colour scheme was just weapons grade stupid. I mean, a blue moose? Where are we, frickin' Pandora?

Maybe if the rumour of a switch back to the heritage jersey for the Jets is true, they will go "heritage" for the Moose, too.

Yeah, who ever heard of a blue moose before...

Almost 20 interviews today to conclude the Moose season. Lots of good stuff from Jets prospects (Heinola, Torgersson, Nikkanen, Lundmark). Chisholm was under the weather but he's going to join us next week on the end of season Moose recap show.

Ask if the coaches have to match schemes with the Jets or if they can use whatever strategies they want. Ie does Bones or previously Maurice have any input in playing style

Ask if there is an organizational mandate for the Moose to lose any playoff series after the Jets are eliminated so as to not show up the parent club.
