The Moose scored first (see below) but the Admirals got the next five to take it 5-1 in Milwaukee. Manitoba now 1-1-1-0 on the road trip. They head to Grand Rapids tomorrow where they’ll take on the Griffins twice to close out the road trip.

Injured: Cole Maier & Chaz Lucius

Milwaukee got on the board with a 5 on 3 in the 2nd, and 4 goals (1EN) in the 3rd to seal the deal.

Noticed that Brad Lambert is now 0 pts, -6 since coming back from injury. Could be linemates I don't know, but he's not even getting on the top PP for the Moose, with all the callups, which Perfetti was doing at 18 years old.

Would it be good or bad for his confidence to lend him to Finland for the World Juniors?

I haven't been able to watch the last few but the few before he's just trying to find his form.

I know there was a contingent who wanted him to get some games this year but he has an awful lot of things to iron out on his game before he's close to ready. The skill is there but he can't rely on it alone. He's a kid that we need to be patient with.

I've been impressed with Torgersson this year. He's getting more consistent playing that grinding game and getting to the net. He keeps it up and he puts himself in a good spot for spot next season.

Injured: Leon Gawanke (didn't finish last game). Cole Maier.

Odd game in Grand Rapids as the Moose were in the game but penalty trouble led to the first goal (which proved to be the game winner, although it wasn't a PP goal because they scored just as penalty expired). Also because it was the Teddy Bear toss game it ended the 1st period with 4 minutes left to go. So they finished the 1st period after the 1st intermission. Odd but true.

Good tilt by Tyrel Bauer:

Big Bad Brad trying the Michigan:

Manitoba now 8-5-2-0 on the season. Re-match tonight to close out five games on the road.

Seems like the Moose are now unsurprisingly showing the signs if a depleted team due to all those call ups.

Did Lucious draw back in last night?

Nice win by the Moose!

Geez Salminen looks big in the net. I think we might have something with him.

I'm not going to worry too much if Heinola ever works out for us as Chisholm is looking very impressive. Good offensive chops. Such a smooth skater.

Late to the party on the Moose game as they continue to earn (at minimum) splits in two-game series this season. That’s just what they did as they concluded the five-game road trip with a 4-1 win over the Griffins in Grand Rapids. They are 9-5-2 on season.

Nice tic-tac-toe:

Quite the sound on this goal:

This empty netter was worth highlighting:

Watched the back half of the game today:

Lambert was really unlucky not to get any points. He created so much with his speed and skill today. He keeps playing like today and they will come and come in bunches. Reminiscent of Morrissey his first pro year where he created a tonne but they didn't start dropping until game 20 or so.

Heinola was the best player on the ice. Managed the puck really well, real strong defensively and picked his spots well offensively. Keeps playing like this and he gets another call up and if he plays like this in the NHL he stays up.

Chisholm some real strong play amd some sloppy turnovers. Needs to get consistent.

Torgersson went to the net hard, was good along the boards and had a nice game. A bit better finish and he has a couple today.

Lundmark with another real solid d game and jumped in smartly on pinches.

I think one of the most crazy things I've ever seen with this Moose club took place in the 3rd period. Manitoba didn't give up a single shot. This despite having to kill a penalty and Milwaukee pulling their goalie for almost two minutes to end game.

The Moose take three out of four points from division leading Admirals as they win 3-2 this afternoon. Manitoba improves to 10-5-2-1 on the season.
