Damn, has it always been that way? I was a half season holder for the first few years and have since switched to just buying AHLTV for them, would have been nice to watch the games I wasn't going to when I was a holder.

Here is how the Moose lined up:

No Lambert, Stenlund, Meireles or Bauer. Not sure if there were recalls (aside from Toninato), injury or potentially just lineup management given they play three games in three days.

First pro goal for Bongiovanni:

Two straight games with a goal for Harkins:

First AHL marker for Nikkanen:

Moose goalie Oskari Salminen off to a solid 2-0-0 start to his North American career with a sterling 1.00 GAA and a .961 save %

Him, Stenlund, Bauer, and Toninato out. 3 games in 3 days probably has something to do with it/Toninato being called up.

Kinda stupid they’re playing plugs like Polei over Lambert.
I get having some vets in the lineup to maintain consistency and leadership but they already have that with Harkins, Sautner and the like. There’s no world where Nicholas Jones needs to play over Lambo. He’s gotta learn the vigorous pro NA style schedule.

i seriously doubt lambert was a healthy scratch. i'm guessing visa problems or injury but not healthy scratch

3 games in 3 days. There's no way I'd play an 18 year old in all three.

why not wait and see how things play out before using disparaging words such as stupid and plugs.

3 games, first two 23 hours apart, second two 22 hours apart, all in different arenas.

3 arenas, all within about a 75 km radius of Highland Park, Il.

I assume they will have a hotel around there and not travel between games.

Good call, I just saw they were all away games against different teams. Still, 3 games starting within 45 hours of each other. Players will be rotated, anybody with an ache will be first to sit. Lambert missing a game in this situation is nothing to be concerned about.

Lineup changes in game 2 of 3 straight:

Kevin Stenlund and Brad Lambert are in
Daniel Torgersson and Chaz Lucius are out
Dean Stewart comes out on D and Tyrel Bauer back in.

1. Chisholm goal:

2. Harkins goal:

3. Holm penalty shot stop:

5. Lambert empty netter:

Manitoba improves to 3-0-1-0 on the season. Play in Rockford on Sunday.

Simon Lundmark with a few brutal giveaways that first period.

In fairness, much better second period for Simon. Then again, it was all Moose, all period.

Watching the game an Chisholm is incredibly impressive both ways. I like his all around game more then Ville's so far.

Heinola though does what he wants offensively at this level.

Edit: Moose putting on a clinic in terms of what offense from the defense looks like.

Torganson playing well, being hard on pucks and getting to and taking the puck hard to the net.
