Is it possible that we are accumulating defencemen because a trade involving one or more of our young and/or older defencemen is in the works? Pure speculation on my part.

I count about 9 Moose forwards on NHL contracts, plus however many on AHL deals.

Gus in the NHL leaves 9. We don't know yet where Lucius will play. He could play Jr and leave 8. IDK how many are on AHL contracts. Lambert is a possible for the Moose but it sounds more likely he will play Jr - assuming he signs.

He is just relatively inexperienced so I suspect they will work him into the lineup. It is what they usually do with players. Same happened to Appleton. Started on 4th line in his rookie year and ended on the top one. I know one is a 6th rounder and the other a 1st but Lucius didn't play a lot of games last few years so he may need some time to get his legs under him.

What did they do with Perfetti. I can't recall if he played a few games on the fourth or not. But he was quickly moved to the top 6 if my memory is correct.

I remember a few games of him on the fourth. Then he started getting double shifted with some shifts on the fourth and some in the top 6.

There aren't any official stats for time on ice but I always got the impression that the Moose rolled all 4 lines pretty evenly.

I remember a few games of him on the fourth. Then he started getting double shifted with some shifts on the fourth and some in the top 6.

My notes say it was a grand total of two games. One game on the 4th line and then his second game was on the 3rd line. Then he was up on either the 1st or 2nd lines for the next 13 games (Moose were decimated by injuries/recalls) and then he played another 10+ on the 3rd or 4th line as they got back to health/returns.

I'm interested to see the lines with all these forwards to choose from. I hope they play Lambert and Lucius on the top 2 lines but separated. Looks like Harkins and Stenlund/Toninato will be the top two C's.

Really pumped on those top 4 D. Hoping for a breakout year from Lundmark.
