Heinola is day-to-day according to head coach Mark Morrison. He said that Heinola's issue is lower-body and that he went into the game dealing with a hamstring problem.

Well that is very different from what I thought the issue might be.

I was at the game today and it was a real good one.

Perfetti played really well. He looked much more comfortable with the puck and with his line mates then last game. He was very good at pushing the play forward and really should have had a few more points if the finish was a bit better.

Gus, another real strong workman like effort from him. He is just all around the puck in all zones and wins a lot of battles. The kid is pretty darn close to NHL ready if he isn't there already.

Chisholm: Another good night for him, moved the puck well and jumped up into the play well.

Lundmark: I am starting to quite like this kids game. He is nice and tidy in his end but has more offensive ability then expected. He has good hands and can walk the line well.

Kovacevik: Much better effort then last game. Good defense and was moving the puck much better.

The Moose seem to have similar spacing issues leaving the zone as Jets. The forwards get too far ahead of the play and leaves our dmen having to make real long outlet passes.

I was at the game yesterday, it was dull. The Perfetti goal was the one exciting moment. Kovacevic got walked on one goal, I think the first Iowa one. The Wild looked really good in their own end, they were forcing all the Moose shots to the outside... Moose weren't able to connect on passes into the slot.

I average maybe two Moose home games a season but I swear to God I don't think I've seen a truly exciting Moose game here since before 2011.

Great seeing Cole getting his first couple goals. He seems to be continually developing in all facets of his game. If he can find some chemistry with the right guys I can see him putting up some impressive numbers. Gaining lots of quality TOI and PP with the Moose. Had 9 goals last season in 32 games. I can see that one surpassed.
Next is WJC starts in a month or so for training camp. I'm sure after he could be playing a few more games with the Jets if he is healthy and playing well. The Moose look much better than last season, more depth. Injuries on the Jets will determine the Moose Roster come playoffs.

I really dislike how the Moose have played the past few games I've seen. There is way too much I terms of unskilled play. The teams dmen should be able to advance the puck cleanly out of their end but even our skilled guys are banging it off the boards and out and we loose control.

Very little in controlled break ins, all dump and chase and cycle.

It's not even coming close to really resembling how the Jets are starting to look.

Perfetti really coming into this game the past number of shifts.

Heinola with a real poor giveaway let's Rockford go up by three.

Beauty feed by Perfetti and Moose on the board.

Next shift Perfetti wins the draw and then gets to the slot and tips a Heinola point shot in.

Third game in three nights so it took the team half the game to really get the legs moving:

Perfetti really grew into the game and was really dangerous the back half of the game. He scored a nice tip goal (AHL hasn't credited him yet but it was pretty apparent he scored it given his celebration and the fact everyone converged on him to celebrate on the ice). He also made a beauty backhand saucer pass to set up Mallot. Once again the small things were on display as well. Pretty good start with 6 points in 7 games and 4 of those coming at 5 on 5.

Heinola: I thought he was medicore at best through two periods and was playing far too passively like he was in TC. However once the third period came he upped his assertiveness with the puck and looked like a different player. Like Morrissey Heinola is at his best when he's being aggressive. He made a number of good plays and got a number of good shots off. He was very good at getting his shot through again and it lead to two deflection goals.

Gus: Played a solid all around physical game but wasn't that noticeable offensively. He is sort of like Copp where his offense is more through positional play and smarts then it is talent.

Ves: Was ok, made things happen with the puck, had a couple of good looks and forechecked well. He is likely back up tomorrow if Helle is back.

Chisholm: Not his best effort, got walked bad on their 4th goal and was spraying breakouts all over the place all night.

Gawanke: Similar to Chisholm, he wasn't moving the puck well and his defensive zone play was so/so.

Kovacevik had a typical game, physical and solid defensive play. He was ok with his puck movement and will likely get a call up at some point.

Perfetti over to Malott:

Perfetti t0 Gustafsson to Kovacevic to Heinola to Perfetti (they say Heinola as goal scorer but that will be changed):

Heinola blast gets tipped by Polei but the comeback falls short:

Yeah I have no idea how they messed that up, it is very clearly tipped by Cole lol.

When do we see perfetti again? Injuries?

No clue as I guess it will depend on a couple of things. His development and performance being one of the main considerations, injuries being another, whether Moe will trust him down the stretch is another.

I don't think there are any plans to bring him up until after the WJHC and half an AHL season.
