Yup. We havent been able to get our game going against any team that was able to trap us and it showed in the first five mins of this game too. We couldnt get passed the neutral zone.

Seems like that's the best way to play us. Our defenders always activate, and our winger constantly forget to cover, so the chances of getting an odd man rush against us is very high. Not forcing anything, is probably the best strategy against us.

This team is going nowhere if Bednar can't trust Mittelstadt to play 2nd line center.

Can't say CMac didn't try to give Bednar everything he needed at the TDL. But Mittelstadt might not be it, and it is going to cost this team.

Don't even send most of the guys tomorrow. Call up as many guys as possible. Leave MacKinnon home for a much deserved rest. Send Makar to a physiotherapist every day, twice a day until the playoffs start. Sit everyone you deem important.

Go over the film, and spend every practice concentrating on the D-zone.

It looks like he's not in good enough physical shape to play Bednar's style. Like Drouin at the beginning of the season.
