Atlanta stadium tho

It's a jewel of a stadium, but it hold 70,000 people.

Atlanta will draw half that at best, a quarter that at worst.

They have a BC style drape system to close the upper half, but it's still a bit awkward.

If they manage to really fill it though, it'll be epic.

I'm expecting we get confirmation of a contract for Salazar sometime today through IMFC twitter. I wont be the only one disappointed otherwise. Kid has loads of hype, and played for it..

We gonna finish 8th. Our midfield is atrocious.

uwotm8?

our mid is equal or superior to last year, our D is equal or slightly better than last year, and our forwards are better than last year.

at minimum we are a playoff bubble team, at best we can compete for the top spot (IMO with TFC and Columbus)

it's a 9 team conference, and there are multiple teams that are way worse than we are.

I just realized. Salazar has not been signed yet.

I might have a few ideas about why he isn't signed yet:

- isn't there a contract limit as well in the MLS?
- is Salazar taking up an international spot or does he have his green card?
- do we retain his rights if we let him go play wherever he was playing last years?

They might try to sign those guys (Verso, Salazar) to FCMontreal contracts?

-He wont affect any limit like salary cap or number of players on roster (edit: i mean he wont make the team go over)
-He was born in the US so he's not an "international"
-He was playing in college last season, and no we dont retain his rights

Verso isnt getting a contract, IMFC announced this via their twitter. If Salazar gets a contract its possible he plays for FC Montreal.
