We've seen this PP for a few years now. Get the puck to the Dman with the big shot. That's our PP.

The PP set-up we've seen in the 1st period is very different from what we've seen over the past three years, and a lot more efficient.

Yes, the main focus is still the big point shot. Only now, the big point shot is put in a position to do some real damage.

Amazing they changed half the players and they still look exactly the same as last year. Hmmm...

I'm happy to criticize Weber but I did kind of like that set-up to Weber on the side. I think if they keep it up, it will work eventually.

that being said, Radulov should be 1st wave PP.

Bergevin build a defense in his image: slow, physical, truculence, character, unskilled. Exactly the opposite of where the NHL has been heading for over 10+ years.

Habs got absolutely mangandled that period. I thought Weber was supposed to be intimidating!?

We should have kept Scott and Brown if we wanted intimidating. Add Frazer Mclaren, Colton Orr and Randy Carlyle with Pronger as an assistant coach. Now there's truculence. Seriously, he can't even figure out how to make a goony team.

Well I guess the only positive I can see is that MB/MT have gone all in with what they want by trading PK. So if (when) it fails miserably, they will certainly both be out. Right?

Two garbage goals and half the thread is about Subban and "the trade". Seems almost like people are happy we got scored on.

Let's have a drinking game ... everytime Subban is mentioned in the GDT. Or maybe not.
