It's very early and I am sure things will come together eventually. I was not impressed in game one and I am less impressed tonight.

I don't have a problem when it comes to using the point as the primary shot area during the PP, but more options need to open themselves up to really make it more dangerous. So far I am seeing some carryover designs from last season.......and the season before.

When you're a gritty player and a "character guy" like they sold it to us, he's supposed to do all that.

There are many flavors of grind and rarely do any of them have the complete package. Prust came pretty close, though.

Shaw does not have the body to be a fighter even if he was mentally willing.

Don't need someone to carry the pairing, need someone to carry the puck. Beaulieu is our best player at gaining the offensive zone. Just have him with Weber on the 1st wave, should make it a lot easier to set-up.

Not a meaningless stat considering Karlsson's shift length has been an issue in Ottawa for a while.

Would like to see:

Lehkonen - Chucky - Radulov
Patches - Plekanec - Gallagher

This way the two biggest current offensive blackholes - Patches and Plek - get to do nothing together and Chucky gets some people with actual puck skills who can follow him. Chucky hasn't been great, but Patches has been all sorts of absent and Gallagher is Gallagher, but he won't be the one to get the line going. Radulov has been the only one to show something in the 1st, give him more time ffs.

In retrospect you would have had to misss the playoffs for what 10 of eleven years?

I think MB did a good job in a few respects but not firing MT will be his downfall.

What happens if the Habs start 1-6?
