It doesn't matter what that useless dman is doing, the biggest threat on the ice was ALWAYS Tavares.

Agreed. Someone said Price was cheating, and that's because he didn't know if Frankie was taking the passing lane away or just going for a skate.

Bouillon should have taken Tavares and forced the play one way or another.

I'm just glad Kevin Poulin isn't getting the "Quebec Goalie Shutout" Moral victory thus far

He wasn't even square. Price was sideways and practically in them middle of his crease when the puck went in. He was cheating by a mile.
He's got a guy open on the other side waiting for the pass... You can say it's the blueliners job but he was open. You can't allow those kinds of chances man. It's one thing to let him shoot from that spot but to leave JT alone all day is just asking to get scored on. Brutal.

Hopefully they wash the damn camera lens between periods. I can't be the only one that noticed that damn spot.

As for the NYI goal, Bouillon has to cover the centre lane to make a cross-crease pass difficult, but he can not leave that much space and let the attacker walk right in. He can still cover the passing lane while steering Tavares outwards, which would give Carey an angle to work with.

Naw, either way, your biggest threat is the shooter at all times. You can always have an eye on where the other players are in your peripheral vision, but you always square up to the shooter. Only the shooter can score, if the puck goes across, so be it; until then the shooter is your #1 priority.

Price has been cheating a LOT lately, mostly because he's not at his most confident form; letting in 3+ goals on less than 20 shots for the most part, isn't good on your psyche. He's cheating because he isn't totally confident at the moment, it has nothing to do with Bouillon's incompetence.

The Isles bring out the worst in the Habs.

This game.

Yeah right... you aren't blaming Price. But when the goal is scored you start talkiing about how he misplayed it instead of posting on how he was left alone...

Nope I was simply correcting your lack of hockey knowledge. On a 2v1 goalie plays the shooter, and dman plays the other guy. That's all I said. The rest, you chose to read into.
