He's got a guy open on the other side waiting for the pass... You can say it's the blueliners job but he was open. You can't allow those kinds of chances man. It's one thing to let him shoot from that spot but to leave JT alone all day is just asking to get scored on. Brutal.

Considering Cube looked lost, I would have like Carey to play the shooter a little more strongly.

No matter - unless we're done scoring. And I doubt that... :naughty:

The first star offensive players tonight for habs are Galchenyuk, Eller and Ryder. gwg for one of them tonight. Galchenyuk is showing speed and confidence with the puck.

Hahaha.. Therrien killed White. He's useless now.

He's playing decently so I wouldn't call him useless, especially considering how difficult the role of our 4th line is, but Therrien basically did to White what everyone always accused Martin of doing to players.

This is definitely not the same MT that coached us the first time.

By useless, I mean he's easily replaceable now. He plays solid hockey for a 4th liner, but I loved his mean streak, even if it cost us a game here or there.

Nope I was simply correcting your lack of hockey knowledge. On a 2v1 goalie plays the shooter, and dman plays the other guy. That's all I said. The rest, you chose to read into.
You aren't correcting anything dude... You're focusing on Price because you have some king of irrational hate on for the guy. Bouillon lets him walk in alone and yet you talk about Price.

Your posts are there for all to see. Nobody has to read into anything here...

Galchenyuk and Eller are pretty much our best players every night since Therrien has increased their workload.

Just got home and saw the highlights of the first period. WTF was Bullion thinking...you should always take the shooter... Especially a guy like Tavares. I'm shocked he allowed that to develop

I don't know man... we just suck against the Isles. I'd like to see some improvement here because that was pathetic.

You got it wrong, dude.

Therrien has increased their workload since they have become our best players.

I wasn't talking about Price at all until you did. This is crazy. I didn't blame him. But you said something completely wrong about how dman and goalie should react on a 2v1. Whatever...

There are still people on this board who think Moen's job is to fight?

Wow.

As someone who doesn't think players should be in the NHL if their first job is to fight, I wouldn't mind if Moen dropped them more first so I wouldn't have to keep hearing about it, second so someone besides Prust and Emelin could get their face pounded in for once.

But Moen hasn't been particularly great besides that, he's actually being outplayed by White and Armstrong on even strength, though he does his job.

If Price doesn't slide over and Tavares passes the puck and islanders score...Price will get blamed for not sliding over. If Price slides over and Tavaras scores he gets blames. Essentially, like I said, the goal is good if Price saves. Every goal on Price is apparently a bad goal.
